I started making part two immediately after writing part one, because oh my god, I have always wanted to write a sleepover fanfiction with Keeper of the Lost Cities.

Thank you so much for all the support! Yall have been extremely awesome, but there are some people that just are so, so, so amazing. These people I will hopefully remember to tag in the comments.

Okay, on with part two, starting off with everyone's favorite badass cinnamon roll that is definitely not in love with a certain teal-eyed telepathic w o n d e r b o y!!! <3

(or at least my favorite ;-;)

✩Dex's POV✩

The smell of delicious food coming from the kitchen of Everglen filled everyone's noses with hunger. Fitz and Biana passed out plates and forks as I tried my best to ignore the moment when Fitz's arm brushed against mine while I offered to help him set the table.

Stop it, Dex. That's, like, super duper incredibly creepy, I scolded myself.

"Dex? You there?" my best friend asked me, watching me stare into my bowl of starkflower stew.

"Yup, I'm fine!" I reassured quickly.

"Where's your bet?" Sophie asked me curiously.

"My what?"

"We're placing bets on who can eat their food the fastest: Keefe or Marella," Sophie explained to me.

"Marella, obviously!! Remember the last time you faced against her in an eating contest?" I replied.

"But Marella's super tiny," Sophie argued.

"HEY!!!" Marella yelped at Sophie's remark. Sophie raised her arms in the air defensively.

"Sorry," she apologized. "Just sayin'!"

"Yeah, but fast," I pointed out. "Keefe's too slow."

"Okay, Dizznee, that's just rude," Keefe said in fake disbelief.

"What?" Sophie and I said to Keefe and Marella at the same time.

"I agree with Dex," Fitz said at the same time as Biana muttered, "Of course you do."

Fitz ignored his sister, thankfully. "Marella could probably beat everyone here combined. It really doesn't have to do with size. Plus, like Dex said, Keefe is too slow." Fitz smirked at his best friend who gaped at me indignantly.

"Why does everyone think I'm slow?" Keefe muttered to Tam, who merely shrugged and moved to the opposite end of the table, away from Keefe.

"Everyone, raise your hand if you are actually smart and think Marella will win!!" Fitz yelled, standing up on his chair.

Fitz, Linh, and I raised our hands while Sophie, Biana, and Tam kept their hands down. Keefe gushed at Tam's hand staying right by his side.

"Aww, Tammy, that's the nicest thing you've ever done for me!!" Keefe said lovingly. Tam gritted his teeth and muttered something incoherent to Keefe, but his hand stayed in place.

"Alright, whoever rooted for the winner gets ten lusters from each loser," Biana concluded. Everyone nodded.

"Ready, set, and...go!!" Biana yelled at Keefe and Marella.

"Go Marella," I muttered as the small blonde girl scarfed down spoonfuls of her soup. Keefe did the same, picking up his pace to match Marella's at the start while I narrated the battle in my head. As time went on, Keefe slowed down as Marella's pace stayed consistent. Marella finished her bowl as Keefe was finishing the last of his bites.
