✩Marella's POV✩

Dex turned toward the group, after what felt like hours of staring into Fitz's eyes, most likely communicating with him telepathically. "Um, could we skip this round?"

Sophie sighed. "You know what? Sure, just don't do anything." The blonde girl muttered, "Or anyone..." as Dex and Fitz happily exited the room, hand in hand, running off to who knows where.

"Tam could go again, perhaps?" Linh suggested, flipping her long black hair that sparkled silver at the ends and smiling sweetly at her brother, but there was a desperation in her eyes as she glanced at her brother with pleading baby blue eyes, sparkled with silver flecks of anxiety.

"I suppose so," Tam sighed tiredly, looking around the room and gazing upon Keefe for a lot less time than everyone else, before his eyes landed on me and he smirked.

"Marella..." Tam's lips curved into a devious smile, making my heart beat faster with fear. But he sighed and tossed his silver bangs out of his face.

"I can't think of anything," he complained, but the knowing silver glints in his eyes said otherwise.

"I could pick something," Biana offered to Tam, who agreed. "Marella, who would you rather kiss: Linh or Tam?"

My heart's pace realized. Linh knew I was a lesbian, so picking her would surely not mean anything to her except for the fact that I just simply don't like Tam. That would be not suspicious. Totally normal. Absolutely not threatening. So when my mouth opened, I expected it to say something a lot different from the name, "Tam."

Linh's baby blue eyes fell to the ground as everyone in the room let out a soft groan. "Wait- no, urgh, sorry, I meant Linh!" I said in a panic.

Linh's light blue eyes shined with silver as she beamed at me brightly. "Really?"

"Oh, uh, yeah, of course," I chuckled nervously, staring into her light blue eyes a little too long before clearing my throat and turning back to everyone.

"Okay, so now I pick someone?" I said. Biana cursed under breath but nodded.

"Umm, what about..." My ice blue eyes scanned the room as everyone watched in anticipation until my gaze finally landed on Keefe.

"Keefe, truth or dare?" I asked him. Keefe grinned widely.

"Dare, DUH!"

"I dare you to tell me if you have a crush on anyone in this room," I demanded mischievously as Keefe's ice blue gaze softened as it flickered to Tam and back to me.

"You know what? Yes. Yes, I do."

Sophie gasped as she took another sip of her coffee, Linh glancing at Tam who looked anywhere but her...or Keefe.

"Ooooooooooooooooooo," I said teasingly before being shut up with a pillow to the head from Keefe, his ice blue eyes shining with triumph.

"Oh, so that's how you wanna go?!" I smirked, and picked up my own pillow.

"GO MARELLA!" Linh and Tam said at the same time Biana and Sophie said, "GO KEEFE!" I smashed my pillow against Keefe's soft blonde hair as he toppled over.

"Not my hairrr!" he whined, desperately grabbing little blonde strands of his bangs.

"You need to stop being so protective of your hair, Keefe," Tam sighed, but there was an exasperated smile in his voice that made Keefe grin widely.

"You going soft on me, Bangs Boy?" he sneered.

"In your dreams," Tam rolled his light blue eyes that reflected silver with sarcasm, but his lips cracked a smile. Keefe stared at him with admiration and something else. Something too hard to read on his face. Tam was impossible to read, but something about his smile told everyone that he hated Keefe much less than he was letting on.

I tried to take the opportunity of Keefe being distracted by Tam to smack him with a pillow again, but Linh elbowed me in the ribs before I could.

"You're no fun," I whispered at her. Linh giggled softly at me, filling my stomach with butterflies and sparkles and rainbows and glitter.

"Okay, my turn," Keefe said, tearing his gaze away from Tam's. "Tam, truth or dare?"

"Tr-dare," Tam answered.

"Tell everyone your crush."
