Why does Fedex just work so well with medieval fairytale AUs?! It just is like...the perfect combination. I love it so much, and since there really isn't enough Fedex on this platform, or Keefex, or anything with Dex in general, I feel like it's my job to support my badass little cinnamon roll and his telepathic Wonderboy fanon boyfriend. I would like to be known as the resident Fedex shipper on this platform. Sue me.

Here's little writing tip: when writing said medieval AUs, Fitz's POV works better most of the time. Although maybe I'm a little biased because when I write Dex's POV I always end up having to write something about his bEuAtIfUl TeAl EyEs or something, and I don't like doing that. At all.

I was writing this and decided it fit much too well with the story I wrote about a week ago, The Royal Ball. But I really like writing the part where they first meet...

But I already did that, so I guess this is part two? Ugh, fine. This takes place after part one, blah blah blah. Read that or whatever.

Never mind, I'm actually just gonna make a new thing. This is an original oneshot, not a part two!

God, I'm indecisive.

✩Fitz's POV✩

"Oh my god, Fitz, you're so boring," Biana whined, taking off her tall lavender heels and throwing them across the room, bumping into her bookshelf.

I sighed, sitting on her bed and flopping down with exhaustion. "I just don't want to get caught, like you did last time."

"Sneaking out is sooo worth it, though!" Biana squealed, grabbing a stack of comfortable clothes in her fancy wardrobe. "I'm gonna change out of this torture device, and when I come back, I'm going to find you ready to sneak out to meet my friends with me...or else."

"Don't count on it," I told her as she shut her bathroom door. I sighed, closing my eyes and enjoying the bliss of not being in a super duper uncomfy suit and fancy shoes. The evening light of the setting sun grazed my face, lighting up my toned skin with a pop of vibrant colors. Biana and I just got back from a super awkward tea party with the Song family that Father made us go to. The Songs are wealthy acquaintances of the Vackers, and since they have one daughter and one son that are both about the same age as us...

I pushed the thought of arranged marriage out of my mind. I still had a few years, and it wasn't like there was anything I could do to stop it from happening. So I planned to enjoy my last few years of being loose friends with Linh Song before...

Nope, not thinking about that, I told myself as Biana came out of the bathroom wearing a mauve sweater and dark jeans. Her long, dark hair was let out of its elaborate braids and was cascading down her back freely and her teal eyes sparkled with independence and freedom, a sparkle she told me was reserved for me, and only me. But the way she gazed out the window of our carriage as she passed the animal preservers' house said otherwise.

"Tryna impress your girlfriend?" I said as Biana tied her favorite golden necklace around her neck.

"Shut the fuck up," she retorted, but smiled to herself as she gazed off into her reflection dreamily.

"Oh my god, we're like, the worst people to ever be royalty," I teased. "Dad would be so mad."

"You're not thinking of bailing again, are you?" Biana smirked.

"No, not at all," I grinned, knowing that was a lie. Biana was much better at letting go of her obedient, rule following persona when she was alone. I had a much harder time with that, which is why Biana was currently forcing me to sneak out with her. She had some friends she wanted to me to meet, apparently. She didn't tell me their names because she wanted it to be a surprise.
