( dedication. for Alina's first book there were two commenters/readers that really helped keep my will to continue Alina's story alive. When I felt like no one liked her story they let me know they did and they wanted to see it completed.
without these two, the second book wouldn't be here and the first would've ended. instead I have a second book and two others in the works. One story telling Alina's time before Peter ( winter soldier, age of ultron, and civil war ) and another of her in The Amazing Spider Man. none of which would have happen without them so this book is dedicated to them. and also anyone else who did comment a lot that I may have missed. This story is because of you guys, thank you.

most of her life Alina had been beholden to using her powers by force from others, but now she finally had the freedom and control to begin mastering her abilities. she knew very little of their origin only that they came from parents the red room and hydra made sure she'd never find. under their control she never had time or the ability to push the limits painlessly and learn the true reason she'd been given them. she kept her secret from Peter hoping to grab hold of information. she didn't want him or anyone else to be scared with what she might find.
after the vulture Peter and Alina had kept their promise to maintain a vigilante teenager life balance. she wanted more than anything to keep her promise to him, given their tenderness and overall fondness for each other she wanted it to last. meeting Peter was bliss and the first time she had found something purely hers and purely good in her life.
she would give anything for it to last. but on the day the mad Titian Thanos and his disciples arrived on earth searching for infinity stones, their safety wasn't what mattered. wanting to protect their home, they parted, one following Tony, the other in search of Steve to try and prepare themselves for battle. neither of them knowing it was the last time they would see each other, and what the grief would do to the survivor.
