It is not new that the Russia-NATO rivalry generates controversy and attracts international attention to these two great geopolitical characters in Europe.

Since the days of the extinct USSR (Soviet Union) that the world has entered more than 40 years of a cold war between the USA and the Soviet Bloc, these tensions increased even more in 1949 with the creation of the NATO and the Warsaw Pact in 1955, followed by the Cuban Missile Crisis in 1962,the point at which the world was on the brink of World War III

After the demise of the Soviet Union in 1991, Russia with its staggering and destroyed economy lost influence over the former Soviet territories,NATO taking advantage of the end of the Warsaw Pact shortly after the end of the Soviet empire began to expand into Eastern Europe with the accession of Hungary, Romania, Poland, Bulgaria and all three baltic countries

From the 21st century the United States and its allies (NATO) began to dominate the world in political and military terms, from the Intervention in Kosovo to the Invasion of Afghanistan. Poor Russia was limited only to protesting against the interventionist policy of the bloc in other countries, but All that changed in 2012 with the rise of Vladimir Putin, a powerful and influential man, the current President of Russia who rules the country with an iron fist

In a conventional war, NATO would defeat Russia because of its air and technological superiority, much of that advantage is concentrated in the United States and the United Kingdom, one being a largest air power in the world and the other as a maritime power respectively.But we have to consider that an eventual third world war would involve not only NATO and Russia, but also CSTO and China and some other countries

The CSTO is NATO's grand counter-military alliance made up of Russia, Armenia, Kazakhstan,Tajikistan and kyrgyzstan,six former soviet republics,such an alliance was the way given by Moscow to maintain its control over Central Asia and also to try to counter the power of NATO in an eventual war, using the same principle of collective defense: Any attack on a member country is considered an attack against all, so if NATO attacks Russia it will have to deal with the combined military might of the entire CSTO

In China, the anti-American sentiment, led by President Xi Jipping, is strengthened among the population, as is the hatred nurtured against the United States would lead China to enter the war on the side of the CSTO against America and its allies

Now let's talk about the countries that hate the United States as much or more than China, let's start with North Korea

North Korea is another great enemy of the United States due to its support for South Korea, a rivalry that began in 1953 when the two Koreas went to war. your leader is Kim Jong Un, whose arrogance is at an all-time high and shows off with his nuclear weapons as if they were toys

Poor Afghanistan has gone from a westernized country to a stable democracy under the leadership of Ashraf Ghani , but everything started to fall apart after the chaotic withdrawal of NATO from Afghanistan, American, German, French soldiers desperately fleeing in transport planes while the poor population rioted at the airport of Kabul in the midst of intense firefights, and moreover, in the midst of all this confusion more than 7 billion guns left by the US, now the damn Taliban suffocate the population, the NATO shot backfired:America's Greatest Shame, 20 Years of War and We Still Lost.From an Eastern allied country, the Afghan Taliban became one of the worst enemies of the Americans.

Venezuela, in South America, under the control of Nicolas Maduro, the worst dictator in all of America, while the unfortunate population of Venezuela dies of hunger and suffers from unemployment and repression Nicolas Maduro threatens other countries in the region, such as innocent Guyana, democratic Colombia and powerful Brazil, while strengthening his relations with Russia and other eastern countries.Venezuela has one of the best air forces in South America, but it cannot withstand two months of war due to its fragile economy.Maduro would love to pull the teeth of the United States and Brazil in the third world war ,but he is nothing more than a power-hungry dictator trying to install communism in Latin America.

Let's talk about Iran and its troubled nuclear program that thanks to Israel never worked, Iran was once one of the greatest allies of the United States in the Cold War times, but just like the time passes, interests also change, relationships rot and governments are different Iran was once one of the biggest problems for the security of the Middle East, what the United States counts on for help from Israel by bombing nuclear facilities to end the dream of  Ali Khamenei of his expected nuclear bomb,if the iranian dictator got such a trump Jerusalem would be the first to be bombed,so we can only thank the Israeli government and army for stopping the ambitions of a communist leader and keeping the security of the Middle East stable. Seriously, Israel contains Syria,8ran,Libya and Iraq,It takes a very strong and determined army to deal with four enemy countries right by your side

But now in 2022, the Cold War 2.0 puts Russia as the deadliest enemy of the United States,Vladimir Putin, the President of the Russian Federation has destabilized Europe's entire security system, pushing Sweden and Finland into the arms of Nato who have already committed themselves to defending the two excavated countries. On the 29th of June at the historic Madrid Summit, Turkey lifted all its restrictions on the entry of the two countries, which provides the rapid entry of new members into the alliance, normally such membership is very bureaucratic and takes a long time to complete all its stages, but given the urgent context of current European security such bureaucracies will be properly accelerated for the quickest entry of Swedes and Finns into the organization

Russia currently under Putin intends to modernize its army to counter NATO's influence in Eastern Europe: "NATO's expansion poses a threat to the interests of the Russian people and President Putin will do anything to retake former Soviet territories and restore Russian influence on the continent"a clear threat to the Baltic countries, Ukraine and Poland
