Zaria sat with the rest of the coven Senna and Fi with their newfound powers so of course she was sulking disappointed she decided to go for a walk and went to the cafeteria space to find something she didn't expect Paris crying her tiny non existent heart out
"Are you okay?" She quickly tries to compose herself before just nodded "I can't believe im about to do this but do you want to talk" she sits beside Paris "its like Abby completely forgot i exist" Zaria tries to hold in her comment but can't geez that sounds familiar" "Zaria im sorry" Zaria chuckles "are you?" "Yes im so sorry i never thought about how it made you feel" Zaria nods
"I guess i never really told you why i did" "is there ever an excuse good enough" Paris shakes her head "maybe not but can i try" "yeah go for it" "okay when i ditched you I thought i was doing the right thing for me" Zaria already starts to show her disdain "let me finish not because i didn't think you were cool or whatever but because I felt weird around you not because your weird but because when we're around each other i didn't want to just be friends anymore if that makes sense" Zaria looks up at the realization "i wanted to be with you all the time and i know your not gonna believe this part but that was hard for me cause I don't hate you i never did i hate that i fell in love with my best friend it might not be what you was looking for but thats it" at this point Paris was in tears
"So you thought ditching me was easier than just telling me" "I didn't know how you'd react thought maybe you would ditch me its a defense mechanism" Paris smiled "well i hate that you thought so little of me" Paris gives her the you know what i mean face "however you also took away my chance to speak" "well i see no better time then the present" "okay Paris ill be honest i never thought of you that way til just now" Paris's face fell at that "but i think maybe cause its just hard to imagine everything changing between a person your practically attached to so would i want to pursue that type of relationship with you im not saying no" "your also not saying yes though" "okay only one of us can be a pessimist and its a little more complicated than that isn't it" "yeah i guess it is"
"Look Paris i love my friends but i need you too but its a step thats quite frankly terrifying cause if something goes wrong we could lose each other for good and I don't want that" "i get that and obviously i don't want to lose you either but i don't know i just i feel like we deserve a fighting chance if you want to try this" Zaria thinks and nods "okay but if either of us start drifting" "we'll split no questions asked" "okay" "can i kiss you" "i feel like you've been wanting to fo it for like 5 minutes and i need the pick me up so" she leans Zarias chin upand kisses her on her lips the way she imagined doing a thousand times before except this time she actually did it she actually felt her kissing her back and for right now Paris was on top of her world both oblivious to the time to the roommates who are probably curious why their taking so long oblivious to the world
