"I'm late.." I hissed under my breath. I grabbed my bag and rush out the door just in time to catch the bus. I was literally juggling a million things at once like tying my shoelaces, attending a call and holding my books. I was a total mess! Not to forget that it's my first day of school today! "arrgghh.." I mentally yelled at myself. Many people in the bus were giving me the coldest stares as I was tying my shoelaces and losing my balance ever so often when the bus came to a sudden jerk.

I finally arrived at school and straightened my shirt, brushing off the "dirt". I let out a huge sigh that I never knew I was holding and proceeded to the hallway.

"Hi I'm Maya and Im new to this school?" I said, putting on my best smile. "Oh yes um..your class is Room 4532 so just turn right here and go all the way straight" she smiled, handing me my books that I had ordered. I returned her my smile and turned around. My smile had instantly dropped as I strutted down the hall just praying for this day to end already....
