1. The Party

-Tomorrow will be my birthday... oh I'm sorry! I should introduce myself first. I'm Fiona Usoro. I live in a small house on the Southside with my 4 brothers and 1 sister. I'm the oldest. My father is an alcoholic and drug addict, and for my mom it doesn't get better. She's bipolar. I'm raising my siblings while low on money and I'm trying the best I can for them. Let's get to the story.-

Wake up guys! Breakfast will be ready in 3 minutes! I want your asses down stairs in 2! Fiona screamed tiredly. The oldest son came downstairs first. Normally it takes you ages to come out of your bed, why the sudden change? Fiona asked with a frown on her face. Because it's your birthday tomorrow, shithead. He said. -Well that's my oldest brother, he cares about me in a different way. He is really smart though, I'll bet he'll be the first to go to college. His name is Phillip Usoro. We don't call him Phill like most people do to shorten his name, we call him Lip.- The other siblings came downstairs shortly after that. -My only sister Debs is really nice, she wants to help everyone and is really thoughtful. The 3 other brothers are Ian, Liam and Carl. Don't ask me about Carl I don't know what's going on in his head. He likes to shoot everything he sees. Ian is really into the army. And Liam is the youngest and the sweetest.-

So... Debbie said with a smile on her face. It's your birthday tomorrow... have you planned anything? She asked. Well yes Fiona answered. I'm gonna spend the day with you guys and in the evening I'll be at my boyfriends house. -And yes I have a boyfriend, his name is Mike. He's really nice and also my boss.- we definitely haven't bought any presents. Deb said curiously. Hmm okay it doesn't matter anyway! Fiona said.

They all went to school and when they came back Fiona made them a delicious meal. Here you go! She said. Wow this is amazing! Carl immediately started stuffing his mouth with everything. Thanks Fiona. Ian said. Lip would you get Liam ready for bed? Alright. Lip answered. Carl, Debs, to bed in 1 hour. Ian you can stay up 2-3 and don't make a lot of noice!
