I couldn't help but smile seeing the beautiful roses. I wonder who lives here. I know father told me not to wonder off but I couldn't help it. Everything is so beautiful. I bump into someone. We fall over on different sides. I quickly jump to my feet.
"Sorry! I wasn't watching where I was going!" I offer my head to them. Turns out it's a girl with blonde hair and jeweled blue eyes. She takes me hand and I pull her up. Pretty.
"Who are you?" I could barely hear her question due to being preoccupied with the pain in my ankle.
"I'm Persia!" I smile.
"I'm Athanasia." She looks like she doesn't want me here.
"Do you know where the emperor is? I got lost trying to catch up with my dad." Her face softens.
"I'll take you to Papa!" Her father is the emperor? That means she's Crown Princess Athanasia De Alger Obelia!
"I greet the future sun of the Obelian Empire!" I bow. I'm an idiot.
"Please don't bow. We're friends now, right?"
"Yes, we are." I never noticed how beautiful her eyes are. She smiles.
"I'll show you around after we get you to the imperial physician for your ankle." How did she know?
"Okay." I couldn't help but lose my footing and blackout. Stupid luck!
Athanasia POV
after she got Persia to the imperial physician and into the Emerald Palace
"Blessing and glory to the future sun of the Obelian Empire!" The maids bow.
"Is Papa busy?" The maids look at each other. "No." I open the throne room doors.
"Athanasia."
"Yes papa?"
"Why did you bring the girl here?"
"She is pretty and nice!" I smile.
Papa is thinking.
"Can she be your playmate?"
"Yes! That will make me really happy!"
"I think she is still in the Emerald Palace guest room."
"Bye Papa!"
