He was the man who had it all,

He was always the one to watch the rise, but never to stay for the fall.

He whined and shushed, 

but never once did you hear him hush. 

He believed that if there was a God, he'd fight him with his own fist. 

And battle them till they were no more than a cloud of mist. 

Now times have changed, and so has he.

For his heart was now never whole without his Mon Cheri. 

As the grass was greener, the moon shined brighter, 

and his once swollen heart now felt lighter.

Now this may not seem true to either me or you, 

but rest assure now, that this man has finally become true.
