The Beginning of Time

He saved me. In all the ways mankind possibly could. From the moment I laid my eyes on his chiseled face but soft features I never doubted that our love could withstand throughout all the seasons. I stood there with a tear trickling down my face and feeling jabbed in the heart in the presence of his hands carefully holding another woman's hand. "Maybe it's just a coincidence?" I try to assure myself as he looks at her with a burning love in his eyes. His passion and desire for her is felt through the air that it almost
felt wrong to even question if they were together. I glanced from my seat looking at the grasp of his hands only to notice the wedding band around his finger. "Yup I knew it" I thought to myself glancing back at my shoes nearly sobbing because there was no chance of my loving being reciprocated.  I never thought I'd be one to love blindlessly and for someone I hardly knew. Our souls and destiny's have a funny way of working I realized as my desire for him only grew stronger.
