"Oh my god rick! What happened to your face?"Mindy questioned

"The jv team is what happened"Rick said in a mood

"Hey Adam"Alice smiled noticing he had no spots on his face

"Hey ali"He smiled at the girl

"You're lucky you don't stay in a dorm or you would have ended up just like them"ALice said

"I know we kinda deserve it though since we did leave them at the dinner last night and may have left them with the bill"Adam said rubbing his neck

"Wait why would you do that i thought this whole tradition thing was the first i heard of it unbelievable"She shook her head

"Wait ali i had nothing to do with it i didn't know that they were going to leave them in there all i got told is that i was to come to a dinner and it would be covered by rick, we got called out to go in the hallway for a surprise and they ended up just running out and took me with them you have to believe me"He said coming closer to alice looking down at her and grabbed one of her hands

"I do i just don't put it past them because i know what there like"She smiled

"Hey Wanna go for an ice cream after practice?"Adam asked hopefully

"Sure i would like that i'll meet you outside the building"Alice replied walking away'Bye!"She waved 

"See ya"He smiled walking away

"So how was practice!"She beamed at the boy

"Well it was certainly eventful i can say that"He smiled

"Why what happened?"She questioned looking up at the taller boy

"We we hosted a match between varsity and jv without telling the coaches and it was brutal wasn't the best idea we have ever had but of course we won at least before it was broke up"Adam said

"Oh well that's certainly something"She laughed

"Well how was your practice"He questioned

"Well if you class getting squished from people falling on top of you from this new move were doing good then we have had a great training practice"She sarcastically replied as they found the ice cream shop

"Seems we have both had an amazing training session then"He laughed as he held the door open for her

"Hey how can i help you two"She asked looking adam up and down alice didn't like this

"I'll get a chocolate ice cream and what do you want?"He questioned alice had been to preoccupied glaring the girl down

"Oh uh just a strawberry thanks"She spoke to the girl

"Ok that will be $4.23"She replied still checking adam out

"I got it"Alice replied as she passed the money over before adam

"Hey i would have paid for that"Adam shoved her shoulder

"Nope its ok my treat"She grinned

"Here we are one chocolate and one strawberry"The girl smiled at adam

"Okay let's go"Alice interlocked her arm with adams and pulled him to the door

"Hey!why are you rushing out"He laughed

"Nothing in particular hey let's sit over there"She pointed at a bench in front of a lake

"Hey there's something on this napkin a number?"Adam said confused

"Did you like the girl in the shop?"Alice questioned intrigued but also jealous 

"No?I didn't even look at her i was too enormed by this gorgeous girl next to me"He smiled

"Well then you don't need this'she spoke as she took the napkin out of his hand and threw it in the bin

"Hm something is telling me your jealous"He teased

"I am not!"She replied defensively

"Yes you are that explains why you were glaring her down and rushed out of the shop"He laughed

"No im not shut up"She playfully shoved him

'The view is beautiful"She spoke as the blues faded into oranges

"Its is"His eyes never left her face

"I can feel your stare burning at the side of my head"She laughed turning to look at him

"I like staring at pretty things i just can't help it"He smiled

"Well anyways we should be getting back it's getting pretty close to last period"She smiled feeling the cold prickling her skin

"Yeah don't want the gates to shut on us"He joked

"Gosh i'm not too sure if i can deal with this next hour with the teacher she kills all of my brain cells"She groans

"I'm sure you can deal with it for an hour besides you just spent an hour with the best person ever that could brighten anyone's day 

"Yeah yeah whatever you say banksie"She smiled as she slipped her hand around his upper arm and made their way into school.
