The butter melts as the pan begins to heat up sharp black manicured nails cracks in two eggs and watch as they sizzle. Music is softly playing in the background as the sunny side eggs are turned off and plated. She dances around grabbing the crunchy bacon and golden brown pancakes she did earlier to lay beside the eggs. As she moves toward the fridge she grabs a glass and fills it with orange juice.

She sits the juice next to the plate and grabs her phone humming as she makes her way down the hallway towards her bedroom. She opens the door and sees nothing but a lump and long blonde hair stroll across the pillow she calls out to the lump, only to get a snore in response. She places the food and drink on the bedside table and sits next to the lump, and gently taps it only to get a murmur in return. Since the blonde-haired lump isn't responding she did the only thing left.

She stood up and moved from the bed with a mischievous look in her heterochromia eyes. A look that made itself apparent on her lips. With a running start, she ran and jumped spread eagle onto the lump to be met with pained grunts. She cackled as the blonde pushed her off and moved to sit up. Blue eyes locked onto heterochromia eyes and she also had no choice but to laugh.

After calming down the brown-skinned girl rolled over and gave her the plate. The blonde happily took the plate but suddenly her smile faded and she slowly opened her mouth. "Good morning Catra. You really didn't have to do this, you know. You're always taking care of me...and it's just that I don't think I've been all there for you when you need me."

Catra looked at her and gently caressed her cheeks. "Hey Adora, listen even when I'm broken down and I'm bruised. You are always there for me and I'm thankful for that." Catra moved in and gently kissed her. "And at the end of the day, I'm gonna get myself back home to you." A tear ran down the side of Adora's eye and Catra wiped it.

She sat up straighter and began to eat her food with much gusto. After she finished she spoke again. "You know it's the same for me." Catra gave her a confused look and asked her to explain. Adora stared her in her eyes and grinned.

"Whenever you are broken down and bruised I'm gonna be home waiting for you." Catra was too stunned and didn't pay attention as Adora was getting up until she was on one knee beside her. Adora smiled at Catra and pulled out a ring and said five words. "Catra, will you marry me?".
