"I GOT HIM." Treece said into his walkie, stepping out of the car. "The girl, too."

"Bring them home."

"Copy that." Treece replied. Eddie groaned, the symbiote having slunk back into his skin. Lily laid on the ground, dizzy and disoriented. "You have been a serious pain in my ass, you know."

"Well, you know, I aim to please." Eddie grunted. The symbiote lurched out of him, grabbing Treece. It wrapped around Eddie's broken bones, knitting them back together and covering his whole body. His form grew into a hulking mass of black sludge, until he stood with Treece's throat in his fist. It's face was revealed, long tongue slithering in between sharp teeth.

"Eyes, lungs, pancreas." It spoke aloud, its voice raspy and monstrous. "So many snacks, so little time." It opened its mouth, tongue snaking across Treece's face in a trail of saliva.

"Eddie..." Lily mumbled, pushing herself to her feet. The monster turned as a gunshot sounded, black skin absorbing the bullet before spitting it out. He turned to the shooter, biting his face off. Literally.

"SFPD! Don't move!" A police officer yelled, pointing its guns toward him. "Get on the ground!" The creature turned to Lily, picking her up into his oily black arms. She shrieked, her hands hitting him but doing nothing but splashing against the tar of his skin.

He leaped upward, avoiding the police cars as he jumped from building to car to car, running down the street and breaking the stone barrier into the bay. He jumped with reckless abandon, and Lily barely had time to gasp a breath before they were dunked under the water.

Swimming with inhuman speed, the monster spat Lily and Eddie out onto a tower platform before soaking back into Eddie.

"Oh my god. My legs. They were broken, now they're not broken. Lily!" Eddie mumbled before turning to the girl, helping her up off the ground. She was shaking a bit, staring up at him with wide eyes.

"Eddie, what's happening?" She asked.

"I don't know, I don't know." He replied, arms encircling her. They sat against the tower, Eddie leaning against the steel as Lily leaned against him. The freezing temperatures of the bay did not help either of their shivering, but soon enough, Lily passed out against Eddie's shoulder.

As Eddie shuddered, trying to figure out a way to get them both back home, the black sludge peeled from his shoulder, the symbiote's head on the end of a thick tendril sprouted from Eddie's other shoulder.

"What are you?" Eddie whispered, his voice shaking as he looked the creature in the eyes.

"I am Venom." He replied. "And you are mine."

"You bit somebody's head off." Eddie protested, curling into himself.

"Fuel in the tank." Venom stated simply. "Listen carefully, Eddie, you did not find us, we found you. Think of yourself as my ride."

"Where are you going?"

"We need Carlton Drake's rocket. You remember him." Venom answered.

"How do you even know about that?" Eddie asked, shaking.

"I know everything, Eddie." Venom replied.

"You do?"

"Everything about you."

"How?"

"I am inside your head. You are a loser, Eddie." Venom growled, looking him in the eyes as Eddie recoiled, sighing.

"Are you gonna eat anybody else?" He stammered.
