It's been 2 months since the fall.... It's been a month after Rishab Bajaj died after falling off the cliffs and ever since then their families have been grieving. Swarna and Manish were grieving for their son( Swarna was Rishab's mom and first wife of Rishab's father but after he died. Swarna remarried). Ever since the fall Prerna has been a living corpse without Rishab Goneka Bajaj. Yes she was forced to marry him at the start but that was because Kuki needed a mother and Rishab had told her right from the start and never hurt her. He was the Ideal husband. A few days after the wedding they started to respect each other.
After the Anurag accident, Rishab went to jail because he was accused of trying to kill him. Prerna found out that Anurag did that on purpose and she got Rishab out of there and she realised that she felt something other than respect and so did Rishab. Anurag slowly understood that what he and Prerna had was young love and apologised. Luckily Rishab and Anurag became close friends and now Anurag is now married to Shivangi Sharma- Prerna's sister. Just a couple of months after that Prerna found out that she was pregnant with her and Rishab's baby. She gave birth 9 months before the fall and now here they are.
Monday evening after dinner
Prerna ran to the room as she heard the sound of her son Ishan Rishab Goenka Bjajaj. He was crying, meaning he wanted Prerna or Rishab. Prerna got up and tried to comfort her son. Bas... Bas... Ishu. Baby please calm down. Your Papa isn't here. Please calm down for mama, said Prerna as she started crying while cooing her crying baby in her arms.
Ishaan became quiet after seeing his mother cry. Ishaan snuggled into her chest as he was trying to comfort her. Prerna hugged her baby tightly as he was going to go away like his father did. Kuki had gotten up and took Ishan and laid him in his cot. Kuki hugged her mother. Mama you know that Papa would be upset if he saw you like this mama, said Kuki. Prerna knew that Rishab would be upset he was here and watching her cry but what could she do - live happily without him who loved her more than anything- her Rishu. I know he would be. I am fine na. Kuki doesn't know much about what happened as she wasn't there when it happened. All Prerna had said that Rishab went away for a long time but is still thinking of them but Kuki is a bit older now and she has a feeling that her Papa had left them.
Mama where did Papa go anyways? Did he not love me? Was I bad? Asked Kuki. Indian translation- Mama, paapa kahaan hain? kya use mujhase pyaar nahin tha. kya main bura tha?No bacha you are a good girl for us. it's just Durga Ma( God)asked your papa to do this job for him na. You just wait na. Your papa will be home soon, said Prerna. Prerna kissed Kuki's forehead and wished that this was the truth but she knew what was happening. Her Rishab was gone forever.
Prerna noticed that her children were getting tired so she sang them a lori song to put them to sleep. Ishaan in the cot and Kuki was sleeping on her lap. Once Kuki was asleep Prerna had put Kuki on the bed and picked up her picture of her and Rishab. She went to the side of the bed and cried her heart out.
Why Rishu. How could you do this? Our children need you- I need you, our family needs you and now Durga Maa has taken you away from us. Please Rishu come back to your Sonyie. She needs you. She can't live without you Rishu.
