it was summer vacation, and the students got to have a break before the training camp started, tobirama, however, spent his days doing hero work as he had no reason to be at UA, 

but he was called to watch over the 1-A students at the pool, tobirama declined at first, saying it wasn't his job to watch kids uselessly swim around

but in the end, tobirama stood to the side, watching the students compete in a swimming contest

"aren't you hot in that outfit?" todoroki asked, standing next to tobirama who was wearing a black turtle neck and black trousers with a belt

"no I am not" he responded, todoroki nodded, silence enveloping them, "what's your quirk?" todoroki asked, wanting to make conversation with the stoic man

"I don't have one" tobirama stated simply "then how are you able to do all the things that you do?" todoroki gave him a questioning stare

"by chakra, a substance to life forms, what keeps us alive" "but that doesn't explain-" todoroki started "I'm not finished, chakra can be controlled to do things that you would normally not be able to do" 

"do I have this 'chakra' as well?" todoroki asked "everyone does, however, your people's chakra is so weak you can't do anything with it"

"Why do you speak of us people like you aren't one of us?-" "todoroki! come join bakugou and midoriya!" Kirishima called out to the boy

todoroki did walk over to them, but not before glancing at tobirama, who had sensed Aizawa making his way over here to kick them out of the pool

bakugou, midoriya and todoroki got ready to compete against each other, but as soon as they jumped, ready to use their quirks, they froze in mid-air and fell into the water 

"huh?? what happened" "It's five pm, your pool time is over," Aizawa said, the students complained, saying they were getting to the best part, in the end, they left

"Now that you've finished your first semester at UA, now its time to officially begin summer break" "however, don't think this will be months of rest for you heros in the making" 

Aizawa went on, while tobirama stood to his right, midoriya and uraraka caught his eye, both were flustered by one another, and tobirama shook his head at that

when the bus arrived, Aizawa and tobirama sat next to one another in front of the bus, in which Aizawa took the window seat and tobirama in the aisle seat

"here's the deal, we'll be on this bus for about an hour before our first stop, make sure you stay focused," Aizawa told the class

Aizawa's words fell on deaf ears "why aren't we blasting some music!" Denki shouted, the bus was full of chatter, and tobirama was calmly looking out the front window of the bus

he was still adjusting to the concept of vehicles but he managed, Aizawa looked at class with a mix of annoyance and dread 

"why do I bother" he muttered, tobirama glanced over at him "though this will be the only moment they'll have to fool around" tobirama hummed at this 

and just as Aizawa said, an hour later they stopped at the side of the road to stretch their legs, or that's what the students thought 

"you don't really think we stopped here just so you can stretch your legs do you?" tobirama asked who stood by the busses door
