A/N: Um, so I wrote this based off one of my all-time fav songs by The Weeknd, 'Die For You'. In 2022 I used to seldomly write songs based off actual songs ( I did Grenade by Bruno Mars and Message In A Bottle by Taylor Swift too. ) I don't really do that anymore, but 2022 will forever be the year I wrote a crazy amount of songs and September 2022- November 2022 was definitely the era in which I got lost in my imagination and started to write from more hypothetical perspectives, and this was one of those songs. Like oOoh wHAt iF kind of shit, idk, but it was Something New ( *coughs in my own ref* ) because I got so bored writing about past, silly crushes I didn't really care to reminisce over anymore.
