That was the sound of the post arriving.

"BOY, GET THE POST!" And that was the sound of his Uncle Vernon telling

 him to get the post. Harry made his

way to the post. Harry  made his way to the door to pick up the post 

but his eyes were drawn upon the post:

The letter has a large fancy "G" stamped on the back of the seal. Harry, on instinct, stuffed the letter in his pocket as he thought he would never be allowed to keep it else. After giving his uncle the rest of the mail, harry went back to his cupboard, sat on the bed, opened the letter and read to himself.

DEAR MR.POTTER,

We are writing these to inform you that we have anomalies with the numbers in your bank accounts and discovered a large sum of money has moved has been moved from one of your vaults to the other. As we have not seen you in Gringotts on the date of transaction we are requesting to meet with you to discuss the problem.

This is a portkey that will transport you from your cupboard to my office at Gringotts bank at exactly at 9:30 am.

Harry has a look of bewilderment on his face. He didn't have any money, or bank accounts, and what was a portkey. harry looked at his alarm clock to see it said 9:29:59 am.

"Ah, Mr potter, I see you got the letter" A small humanoid creature said.

"Sorry if I offend you but what are you?" Harry asked.

"Don't worry about that Mr potter, your parents wouldn't leave you with nothing"

"Oh" Harry said 

"So Mr potter, as you seem to know nothing about your vaults or inheritance, would you mind if we run an inheritance, would you mind if we run an inheritance test to see exactly what are you entitled to?" Bogrod asked 

"I wouldn't mind" Harry answered
