it was brought to my attention by the loml kai that dacre montgomery, the actor who plays billy hargrove as well as a power ranger, made a comment a while back about his costar ( who was black ) would be the fastest runner of the group due to genetics.
so as someone with an original character with dacre as a face claim, i wanted to draw attention that in no way shape or form does my character, jefferson taylor, have ties to billy hargrove OR dacre himself.
so, after conversation with kai, i've come to the conclusion that i will keep the face claim the same. but i'm putting it out there that dacres perpetuation of a harmful stereotype does not reflect jefferson nor myself.
