Charlie's POV: I sat in my room, I already have done the dishes like my aunt asked me too. I wonder when she's coming back.. I haven't seen her for over an hour now, I wonder where she could be. Maybe traffics just bad? Eh, I'm sure she'll be here soon. She doesn't take that long mainly, I wonder what I should I do in the mean time.
I mean I guess I could listen to some music, I've already graduated Collage about, maybe.. 2 months ago? Hm, what should I do? What should I do? I looked at my clock and it read '5:30 PM'. Aunt Jen is usually back by six, so maybe another half n hour or so? I mean I guess I could start reading one of my books, I need to catch upon that book. I'm on chapter 5, it's so good! I've been enticed to read it for so long, and now can finally be my chance! I grab the book neatly placed on my shelf and hop on my bed and started reading, I left a crease in the page so I knew where I was up to. I'm so excited to read it, I'm really intrigued by it!
-LATER ON~~
I kept reading until I heard a car pull in on the drive, that meant my aunt was here. I plopped my book down on my bed-side table, and headed down-stairs to greet my aunt. I heard the front door open meaning she was in the house, I gave her a hug after she put down the groceries on the kitchen-side counter. "My gosh, work is hard. I think I need to retire from all the crap I've been put through," my aunt Jen said tiredly as she sat down on the couch still relaxing after a long day at work. I giggled at her comment and replied with "I guess you do." She turned her head to face me as I sat down beside her on the couch, "Well, dear, how have you been?" She asked me, I smiled and stated. "I'm doing good, I've been getting more sleep which is better,"
She smiled and explained, " That's good, I'm glad you're doing well." For a few seconds, there was a comfortable silence filling the room, until my aunt broke it and said, "I'm sorry I took so long, you know how long traffic can be." I sighed and said "It's fine, it's not your fault." I noticed the time and it read "8:00 PM" Oh my god! Time can fly by quickly, I explained to my aunt "Well, I'm going to go hit the hey." She seemed semi-shocked and said. "But, it's only 8:00 Pm-!" I sighed and replied with "Well, I feel tired, so.. yeah" she smiled and replied with "That's your choice, so. Goodnight, sweetie." I smiled and relied with "Goodnight, Auntie." With that being said, I left the living room and scooted up-stairs, let's hope I get more sleep tonight.
