When Hanna Haddad embarks on what's supposed to be another uneventful summer as a lifeguard on Cape Cod, a trip to the past comes as an unnerving surprise. The discovery of her estranged mother's journal opens up the world of tragedy and deception underlying her parents' failed marriage, entangling her in a not-so-accidental romance along the way.
Between uncovering ghosts from the past and realizing the control she holds over her future, Hanna finds herself questioning who she loves - and maybe more importantly - who she no longer does.

NOTE
If you're a long-time follower of mine, you may remember this story as "Lifeguard," which existed on Wattpad from around 2015 to 2017. I took it down later and rewrote it offline as Hidden Truths, and it has since been available on Radish.
For the longest time, however, I've been wanting to bring this story back to Wattpad, so now I'm doing exactly that.
This story is truly my baby. While a romance overall, it's also a tale of heartbreak, loss, deception, and all the ugly in life, partially inspired by real events.
