The way she shut my mouth while I was complaining about being molested by my uncle......
I am really proud of my Indian father,
The way he compares me with others instead of appreciating my efforts.....
I am really proud of my Indian logic,
Where I am taken to swamiji for having depression and anxiety , instead of taking me to a doctor.......
I am really proud of my Indian society ,
about calling me a whore when I was rapped,instead of supporting me...
I am really proud of my Indian customs ,
The way they see woman as a godess but, don't want that godess to be born.....
I am always proud of my Indian mentalities,
When she was not allowed to have 1 male bestfriends while it's ok for a boy to have many fucking girlfriends or girl friends
I am really proud of my Indian logic,
Where I no need to feel shy to carry a packet of condoms but ,need 1000 papers to get a single sanitary pad......
I am really proud of my Indian tradition,
Where I must need a Dupatta to put leg in my street but,it's ok to stand nude infront of an unknown person called husband
And now I am here in this fucking 21st century in India .....to say that it's ok if he your father , if she is your mother, if you are in depression ,if you are molested or if they calls you whore...
But it's not okay
if YOU are her mother ,
if YOU are his father,
if SHE is in depression
if YOU call her whore
Feminisam is common and Feminists are everywhere but, it's YOU who can bring the change..... nobody body gonna stand for us it's we should stand for ourselves ......
Now it's your turn to change the above line
