Prologue

New House, New Life, New Friends and New School.

fun right? no. of course it isn't fun. I hated moving and you know what makes it worse? I have to live in a house with my new step dad. My dad died in a car accident about 2 years ago and my mum is now married to a new man and I hate him.

I stand in the driveway of the new house and look up at the massive house. We have upgraded a lot and I'm not complaining. I look over to the house across the road and see a girl with half orange, half pink hair, she seems cute but she also doesn't seem like a very nice person. Maybe she goes to the school I've just been enrolled in, I guess we'll find out.

"Go inside and pick your room", My mum says

I stare at the girl a little longer and then answer my mum "Okay"

I walked inside and up the stairs. A certain room caught my attention, I walked in and there was a window seat, a balcony, a bathroom and a walk in closet.

"This one?", Mum questions as she walks into the room

I nod at her and sigh

"Hey everything is going to be okay. You're gonna like it here, I promise." She says and pulls me into a hug then walks out

"what makes you so sure?", I mumble to myself
