"Yvonne, asa naman ka?" Ingon si Leika over the phone. While ako naa sa taxi ga maoy kay traffic. "Traffic lagi Lei, kabalo nga busy kaayo ron kay Monday!" Furious, di kasabot si Leika.

"Mag sugod na ang klase, bahala ka diha." Oh di biya akong sala nga busy. "Pag hulat ragud nako, hapit nako ma abot."

I paid the driver as I arrived, thank gosh wala pay time. Ga dagan ko padung sa room, ga racing ang oras ug ako. "Leika!" I called her name.

Sila tanan ni tan aw nako. "Perfect timing Ms. Yvonne, please sit down." Sir Ben spoke. "I am so sorry Sir Ben, and thank you." I just sat down embarrassed. Haystt ngano busy gud kaayo sa Monday?! Lesson learned, mag early ko. I hope that this doesn't happen again.

"Remember our discussion last week? Does anyone remember about.........." Blank kaayo akong ulo, di ko ka focus. Naka limot ko ug inom sa akong kape, gi langaw nato.

"Hoy Yvonne? Okay raka?" Leika said.

"Lei no, dili gyd ko okay. I thought it was 6:10, very careless of me to not check the time." I sighed while looking back at Sir Ben. "Okay rana Yvonne, I'm sure Sir Ben already forgave you about that. This only happened once ra bitaw." Leika smiled as she took out a few papers.

"Nahuman nimo ang essay sa english? Girl hapit mamatay akong kamot, sakit kaayo mag sulat." She showed me her hand, ouch. "Duot pud kaayo nimo imong pag sulat Lei. Light ra unta, wala raman na unsa akong kamot." I giggled at Leika, this girl really is incredible.

— During class break.

Leika crossed her arms, "Si James nag lingi napud nimo." Ni whisper si Leika. "Naibog gyud na nimo girl, pero sure ko di na nimo siya type." Ka klaro! Adik nag em el, yucks! No way.

"Sakto ka."

"Wala kay naibgan diba?"

"Wala man, I mean diba study first?" I got my books out while si Leika ga tabi ra. "Di ka mag study first Leika?" I asked, ga lingi siya ni Christian. "Unahon sa si crush dayon study." Way buot ning bayhana, I rolled my eyes and smiled.

"E reto kaha tika?"

Mo asa ba diay ko anang reto? Gi experimento ko niya ug blind date? "Girl di ko ganahan ana." I sighed, buang na siya? "Girl ka gwapo ni Felix, dayon bright kaayo siya. Syempre mga bright basta ang grado puro 90 above." Hm, I guess I like smart people. Pero ang personality is important for me.

"Also he's so kind, daghan kaayo naibog niya. Bantay biya na, maibog lagi ka one hundred percent sure." I just smiled. "Pag sure diha." I'm not allowed to date, but for sure I've seen a lot of pretty looking guys. On social media of course.

"Does he have Facebook?" I asked, seemingly not looking at Leika. "Who?" I hesitated to say. "Si Felix." Klaro na shock siya, wa man siya nag expect nga I would ask about his Facebook account, its not like I would actually consider him.

"Girl interesado ka? First time pana nimo ah, but naa siya. Felix Rodriguez, basin ma bangaan nimo siya so stalki dayon." She smiled sa akoa. "Ay sus, sure ko dili."

Naa napoy project, haysstt mag study nalang ko sa cafe. I thought to myself, ma meet kaha nako si Felix? Ew no. Why im I showing interest na? I'm not allowed to date anyways. My mom would kill me.

After a whole day of school, i went to the local cafe. Favorite kaayo nako, ever since I first went here when I started high school i felt safe. Nice kaayo ilang environment, its so calm and refeshing.

"My usual please." I smiled. "Oh, niadto lagi ka karon Yvonne? Study hm?" The barista Kiana, is my friend. She decided to have a part time job to help her family and we went to the same elementary school. "Mhm, syempre. Sometimes raman ko mo study diri sa afternoon."

"I got you girl! Extra foam para sweet like you, hehe." I smiled and i went to sit down. "Nara imong kape, made with love gikan nako." She laughed. "Aww, thank you Kia. Energized gyud ko ba." I smiled at her words, she has always been like this. Such a kind and loving person.

I went ahead and started to work on my assignments. They even started to play my favorite song, "Say Don't Go" by Taylor Swift. I really like that song even if I can't relate to it, my other friends do. Then the bells from the front door clinked.

"One cold coffee."

"Okay sir! Coming right up."

"Here's your cold coffee sir, enjoy!"

Words I heard from the cafe walls, usually there's a lot of people sa afternoon. Quiet lagi kaayo?

"So do you come here often?"

Someone sat on the seat in front of me.

"Hm?" I looked in front of me as I lowered my laptop. "I'm sorry, I almost forgot to introduce myself. Felix." There is no way. "Felix Rodriguez?" I said just to make sure it was really him. "How do you know my last name?" He asked, it really was him. He looks very, well.. I don't know how to describe him. "Oh— My friend knows you, but anyways my name is Yvonne." I smiled.

"Really? Not a lot of people know me." He was wearing his uniform, it really suited him. I mean, unsa naman ning gipang huna huna nako. Please lang, I haven't fallen for him, have I? "Did you come here to relax from the assignments and group works?" I said as a joke.

"Mhm. What year are you?" Asking me for my year? gi interview ba ko niya? "Senior year, I worked hard." He looked at me. "Clearly you do, your focusing on your laptop while ga talk ka nako." So cheeky ah.

"I have a lot of works to do anyway." I smiled. "I'm also a senior, top of class they say." Hm, show off? "Showing off are you? Dili ko interested." He didn't react. "Sorry." He said while he got a sip of his coffee, the smell of his cold coffee really got into my nostrils.

"I'd better get going, it was nice meeting you Yvonne. Take care." He smiled and stood up from his seat. I looked at him as he walked out. He also left his cup of cold coffee, he was probably done with it.

"Take care too."
