Putting that memory aside, Jay looked at the both of them, "Thanks guys, but I'm hungry so may I eat and drink a bit?"
Zenix got the hint and stepped back, "Yeah sorry bro! But you know we are curious."
Jay walked by them, "More like nosey..." He found his chair was between Noah and Loraine, not knowing whose idea it was, he still sat down.
Loraine was elated, she had Jay sitting next to her. Wanting to have a conversation with him she took his sleeve, "I'm so glad that you are not injured, because of the incompetence of others. Why did we even take him? The chemicals were not useful after all... And if it comes to scavenging, every one of us could do it better."
Jay looked at Loraine, "The chemicals came in use, and for your information, unlike some people Noah likes to humble himself. Because he did many things... He helped greatly, he even disinfected my hand after I pulled out a crystal."

Zeana looked shocked, Ben and Zenix looked nonchalant, Bea, Cindy, Ted, and Roy were wary and Loraine's face was a fusion of being shocked and confused.
Before Loraine could say anything, Zeana came forth, "HE knows about the crystals, may I remind you that no matter what is going on between you two... He has only been with us since yesterday evening, and you tell him about something so important. Next thing you'll say is, who are the other two on our team are!!"
Jay raised his head to look at her right eyes, the expression was clear 'don't fuck with me right now', "Listen Zeana, of course, he knows. He even asked me about the crystals himself, he saved up quite a few. He also found it suspicious that I said we were twelve people including Noah, but do not worry I haven't said anything."
Zeana fixated on Noah, "Probably stole them" she mumbled under her breath.
"Guys, we don't need to bicker at every opportunity. After all, it is only logical that Noah is as suspicious of us, as we are of him. He only knows us since yesterday too," Ted said as they stood up to get rid of their trash.

"And it's not many days until the two of them come back, so who cares if he knows? I still don't understand why we have to make such a big deal out of it," they continued as they sat down again.
Roy put a hand on Ted's shoulder, "Ted is right, after all the warning from the Teacher was more for strangers..."
Loraine huffed, "Noah is a stranger!"
Lea then said, "Technically he is no stranger, after all, both Zeana and you know him well enough to always put him down and try to get rid of him. But I get what Roy means, Noah is not really a stranger he is from this school after all."
Zenix was confused, "How did he come out of there anyway? In the beginning, this classroom right here was our starting point, and then we worked our way up. The room where Noah came from was a yellow level and the laboratory was a level purple. And both of these rooms were locked too, what's even more strange is that I couldn't be wrong about that. It was me and Ben that checked that floor after all." Noah looked up at Zenix, surprised that he had such good memory.
"We did? I can't remember that so well, but I don't think it's that much of a problem. He probably came from the other side of the school and sneaked into that room. Maybe we cleared those two already and forgot," Ben tried to reason.

Soon everyone besides Zeana, Loraine, and Zenix nodded.
Lea said, "Very plausible, Ben is probably right. What you said Zenix sounds really far-fetched." Zenix was a bit annoyed, "OK all fun aside, we decide to trust a guy who COINCIDENTALLY sneaked into a classroom that was ORIGINALLY locked and then in said classroom COINCIDENTALLY lost his memory? Sorry, but that sounds like bull. Nothing against Noah, but you don't at all question why it would come to that?"
Jay smiled a prince charming smile, "Why would we? Listen although I know that in the beginning, we made it seem like he has to be useful, but Zeana is not helpful or really useful. Neither is Loraine and we still let them stay here, why don't we let him stay too?"
Ben hung his arm around Zenix "Let's forget this, Zenix is just careful. But I am also for telling Noah about the Teacher and his daughter. He's with us now why not tell him."
Zenix glared at Ben playfully, "What's wrong with being careful, we live in a world full of zombies for God's sake. I am one of the ones who don't have an ability and so I only have my head to keep me safe. But still, I at least want everyone to keep in mind that the appearance of him is very suspicious."
He stood up and walked outside. Ben looked after Zenix, then looked at the others, "You know how he is the apocalypse, is as hard on him as anyone else in this room. Give him some time to calm down, I will look where he is in the meantime."
