butterfly entertainment (나비 엔터테인먼트) is an extremely private entertainment agency established in south korea in 2014 by their two CEOs, who are only known to the public as JJ. nobody outside of the company know who the CEOs are, and it is rumoured that even some of the trainees are unaware as well.

ever since the creation of butterfly entertainment in 2014, rumours spread around like wildfire. this company was advertised everywhere, all over seoul. from cards stuck to lampposts, cards on multiple seats in public transport, to literal billboards displaying these cards, all promoting auditions that were being held at a specific address, which could be found by following the link to the company website.

this peaked interest in seoul's population. these cards were so vague yet so intriguing? many people were so very curious about this small company, so ventured to the website in order to find more information, at least about the people who put this together.

the website was also quite vague, as mysterious as the cards. it gave little detail about the company itself, but displayed a rather large building on the homepage that said 'butterfly entertainment' with an address underneath it, explaining that is where the auditions will be held.

people started to claim it was a scam, a cult, and tried to bring the company down before it even began.

but everything has some sort of loop-hole. if you do a deeper dive into this website (which the majority clearly did not do), you would find more information. there was information about how auditions would work, who was running them, and even a few of the main mentors.

after finding this, people seemed to trust that butterfly entertainment was a real organisation after all.
