Today better be a good day

As I entered class I could already tell it was gonna be boring as always I sighed as I sat down and took out my textbook though I stopped mid way as something caught my eye A ring? Why would someone leave a ring on a desk ? I looked around but no one seemed to notice it even the smart girl who was sitting behind the desk and staring at the front of the class didn't notice it . Weird I thought to myself I quickly went to grab it no one batted an eye I took a closer look and it was a ruby and it had two moons on the side it also looked like it was covered in dirt I got up and headed towards the bathroom inside the class as I closed the door I heard someone say " please hurry I need to use the restroom " I said a simple okay as I quickly went over and turned on the faucet.

All you could hear was water running I was trying to get the dirt off when I heard " PLEASE HURRY " as soon as they said that I started scrubbing the dirt off as fast as I could and I soon got all of it off. I looked at it mesmerized when I heard someone yell again I quickly ran to get paper and dry it off and as they where starting to yell again I swung the door opened and they instantly fell quiet as we stared at each other and a second later they pushed me aside and quickly closed the door as I stood there silently for a moment or two then I made my way over to my desk sat down and stared at the ring it was absolutely beautiful I was about to try it on when the teacher came in I *sighed * and took out my pencil way to ruin the moment
