"Will!" Joyce's voice echoed across the empty house.
The house was nice but it wasn't a home, never would be. The buyers family's home was in Hawkins, Indiana. Its where they all grew up and its where they belonged so thats why after all that has happened they still found themselves moveing back to the isolated town filled with familiar faces, some they where happy to see and some that where feared. . .
"Will!!" Joyce called out again
"Im come- im comeing!" Will yelled back as he stumbled out the door, his shoes barely on.
"Plane leaves in 2 hours come on!" His brother snarked
"Im ready, im ready!" And woth that the boy flung himself into the car and before they knew it they were greeted by the 'Welcome To Hawkins' sign. Soon enough they where pulling up to their old home, it was identical to how they left it. The family exited the car and entered the home, a sort of bittersweet nostalgia filled the air as they set their bags down, the house was silent. . .it was to be expected that a house you move into would be quite but this house was different. This house was never quiet, there was always something to break the silence weather it was the creak of a floor bored or wills friends yelling as they played D&D but as for this moment of time it was silent. . .will was almost happy about that fact but at the same time the never ending noise was what made that old house his home.
He starred down the empty corridor takeing in the clean yet musty air, no one wanted to move into the house so luckily they where able to buy it back for relatively cheap. As Will stared down the hall he noticed it, a small figure peering past the ajar door of his former bedroom at the end of the hall. . .the house wasnt quiet enymore. Instead it was filled by the sounds if Wills raceing heart beat and shakey breath, slowly he spoke;
"H-hey mum is that you?"
"Will, im right beside you love" Joyce hummed, her tone warm but concerned
"Oh. . .I'll be right back. . ." He muttered as he slowly made his way down the hall

Wills heart pounded in his chest.

With every step the boy took the corridor got longer and longer. He finally reached his old room, he slowly opened the door. . .

"WELCOME HOME!" A group of voices yelled
Will was frozen, right before him stood everyone he so desperately wanted to see. He was finally home.
