My only Soul | Taegyu

Singing together

Beomgyu was in the middle of recording his song, now using high tech equipment and stuff.

And Taehyun couldn't be ever more curious.

"What does that do?" He asked, pointing at Beomgyu's producing studio.

"It helps me record and edit my music." Beomgyu happily explains.

"And that?" Taehyun points at his professional microphone.

"You've never seen a mic before?" Beomgyu gasped. Taehyun shook his head. "How about a hand held microphone?"

"The one that looks like a black and gray ice cream cone?"

"Uhh, I guess? Here." Beomgyu rummaged his music bag for his hand held microphone. "This!" He held out a regular old microphone that everyone thinks of when they hear microphone.

Taehyun looked at it in awe. But not because he hadn't seen it before, he has, it was because the mic had pretty stickers on it.

"These are cute." The little ghost said, admiring Beomgyu's microphone.

There were hearts and kawaii looking bear stickers on his microphone. Very cute indeed.

"Aha- I put those on when I was 12.." Beomgyu embarrassingly covered his face.

"Ohh. How long have you been making music?" Taehyun asked.

"Last year. I started singing cover songs when I was 10. I only learned to play guitar last year, so that's when I started making my own songs."

"Can I sing with you?"

"But, would you be heard? I thought only I can hear you.." Beomgyu stated.

"I really meant I just want to sing with you."

"Oh. Ok!" Beomgyu smiles. "I'll start off.. and you can follow along! Here's the lyrics."

"Sounds good to me." Taehyun smiles after scanning the lyrics. They were in Japanese.

Beomgyu clears his throat as he is ready to sing, but before he starts, he hits record. You know? Just incase Taehyun can actually be heard through recording.

He then starts the chorus.

"Naze boku wa~ anata no koto o~ ai shite shimatta nodarou~"

Taehyun sang next.

"Aisa reru~ koto bakari ki ni shite ita~ hitori no~ yoru~"

Beomgyu's smile grew wider every moment Taehyun sang. He felt his heart beat faster as well. At this point in the moment, he feels something for the very first time.

"Tōku de~ mi teta dake no~ hibi.. anata ga~ mabushikatta~ marude~ eiga no wanshīn no yō~ boku wa wakiyaku no mama~" -Beomgyu

"Dōsenara~ kono mama no~ futaride ireba~ nanihitotsu~ kizutsuku koto nado~" -Taehyun

"Aisaretai~ soredake no~ atarashī kimochi ga~ mebaeta toki ni sekai wa kawatta~" -Beomgyu

"Naze boku wa~ anata no koto o~ ai shite shimatta nodarou~" -Taehyun

"Aisa renai~ koto nante wakatte ita~ hitori no~ yoru~" -Beomgyu

"Warau kao mo naku kao mo~ boku janai dareka no mae de~ kata ni yorikakaru anata no koto o~" -Taehyun

"Amegafuru samui yoru mo~" -Beomgyu

"Kūki ga tsumetai asa mo~ boku ga soba de~ nante~" -Taehyun

"Nazedarou ka.. hitomi tojireba.. anata no koto bakari~ omoidasu~ ano mujaki ni warau kao.. oh~" -Beomgyu

"Oh~" -Taehyun

"Naze boku wa~ anata no koto o~ ai shite shimatta nodarou~" -Beomgyu

"Aisaretai~ sō omoinagara nemuru~ hitori no~ yoru~" -Taehyun

The last line, they sang in harmony.

"Hitori no~ yoru~" -Beomgyu&Taehyun

Beomgyu's heart fluttered after that last note. It was really amazing, having his song being sung with another person, and that person harmonizing him perfectly.

He ends the record and played it. And as clear as their night sky, Taehyun's voice could be heard.

Beomgyu mentally cheered as he saved the file of them singing. "Heh, I'm gonna make you add ad-libs." He said, looking up at Taehyun.

"Okay, I sound nice anyways." He then disappeared someplace else.

Beomgyu shrugged with a tiny smile. He looked forward to what other songs he and his new singing buddy can sing.
