I was picking up pieces of wood that would be a good fit for the house, since it was torn down from the wither that spond in while I moved here

I lost a life.. but then I found a new life, a little one that I will protect and keep safe I love that kid with all my heart but I wish I knew what they were and maybe surround them in the things they need, they have the physical form of a fox but then I saw they have gils so they might be some kind of hybrid

I go to the store and pick up some lamb to cook for dinner "that will be 4 pounds please" Sally says with a smile on her face "here you go Sally, tell fundy I say hi!" I said giving her the pounds she asked for "oh I will, maybe fundy and pip can have a play date tomorrow?" I nod and smile"sounds great I can have the house clean by 10 am so if you and fundy want to come over around that time you can"

Sally nods handing me the lamb, I grab it and start walking my way back home..
I hum to myself while I thought of what I could make, maybe lamb stew or something

I soon get to the house and walk in "piip, Im home!" silence fills the room "pip? look I know I was out for a while and you wanted to go to the beach today, but I got a couple surprises for you!" no sounds, no sounds of puttering feet coming to my calls, nothing.

I start to panic "pip!?" I start walking towards their room "pip honey did you not hear me??" I say knocking on the door, I sit there for a couple minutes but no answer "I'm coming in, ok?"
I open the door to see no one, everything was in the places they left it in which only raises more worry inside me

I run down the stairs and I start checking every room "fuck, fuck! where did they go" I curse under my breathe

I ran into the living room and froze where I stood as my heart starts beating faster

I kneel down to the floor, I can feel streams of tears running down my cheeks while my breathing starts to shake, I hold pip's limp body close to mine. my hands shake violently as I feel the cold blood run down my fingers, I hold them close to my rapid beating heart as I sob uncomfortably
