sien couldn't remember the last time she felt happy. a firefly for what must've been over a decade, she only knew two emotions. fear was the one she hid, but it was anger, that pure primal fury that she felt everyday of her sorry life. anger for the infection that had spread, anger for betraying her friends, anger for the hell she lived in. sien's face was a constant of furrowed eyebrows and agitated eyes, a known enemy of the military operation surrounding her yet one with no evidence to arrest.
however there was one hope for sien, the small confidence that her family may still be alive somewhere. although a minuscule chance, it's what keeps her surviving from the fireflies, from the militia, and most of all from herself. so when offered to carry cargo across town with her old neighbour, she accepts full well knowing she has no plans on keeping the kid safe, or helping her old neighbour joel miller. instead she plans on finding her family and becoming happy again.
