A word... A single word that started it all.
"Hello?"
Five letters. I used to believe that these five little letters were the beginning of every event through life. The introduction to people to lead to the very memorable moments, the obstacle, the sorrow. I believed for a long time, this was what I believed made life.
People.
"I'm Neriah."
His voice was the first that I remember, besides my own... My eyes felt fogged and when my vision first cleared, I seen him.
I tried to move but he laid his hand on my chest.
"Cyrus, stay still. Everything will be okay. Breathe and look at me."
This beautiful man called my name... But who was he to me and why don't I know his face?...
