I opened my eyes to see nothing but darkness.
"Its...so dark...w-here..am I."
I look up to see the moon, full in the middle of the dark sky. I look down and all I see is trees and darkness surrounding me. I feel a slight ache in my back and head.
I try to stand up from the spot I found myself and stumble on my feet, I feel a heavy weight on my back and slightly on my head. I stand up and I feel numbness on my back... like I have two more arms.
I start to feel something... feeling... I can move them. I look back and see something dark on my back. What is it, I move them up to the moonlight and I see... feathers.
"AHHH" I yell at the top of my lungs and start shaking my wings.
"WHAT IS THIS" I yell again
The wind around me is howling from the strength of my wings. I start to calm down still not knowing where I am. I take a deep breath and start to flap my wings.
"Ow ow ow" I say slowing down the pace of my wings.
I finally come back to reality and realize the throb in my head. I fold my wings behind me and put my hand on my forehead trying to bare the pain.
I start to stumble on my feet. I fall to the ground hitting it hard, and pass out. The next thing I see is light... it's daylight...was I just dreaming?
I opened my eyes to see trees and bright light from the sun. A flock of geese fly above the trees as I sit up from the spot i fell.
I sit up fully and pull my wings up to fold them.
"Ugh my head.."
"A-are you ok" a soft voice says from behind me.
I jump because I didn't know there was someone there. My head turns as fast as they said there question. When my vision focuses on them I see what looks to be a girl she was hiding halfway behind a tree, she has 6-8 inch antlers on her head.
The antlers are bright white against her ginger hair, She has a full face of freckles, and her eyes are green.
"W-who are you?"
"I'm.. Annie" she said in a shy tone.
"Where are we?"
"Oh you must be new!" Annie says
"What?"
"New?"
"New for what?"
"You must have just been brought to the forest!" Annie says
"Oooh NEW GIRLLL!!!" Annie yell out and it echos throughout the entire forest.
She is now out from behind the tree. I stand up wondering why she just screamed new girl. I am now stood up fully with my wings folded tightly behind me. I start to hear something shuffling around me and Annie.
"What is that" I say in a whisper.
"It's my friends!" Annie says
"They've come to meet you, since there isn't that many girls here, they're excited." Annie says
"Um ok?"
Three other animals come out from different directions, and they all come over to me. One of them transform from a swan to half human. She has beautiful white swan wings, about 4 feet wingspan, on her back. Her hair is beautiful blond and her eyes are blue like the sky.
"Hi there!!" She says in a soft but loud voice. She has sort of a southern accent.
"I'm Diane, what's your name!" She says holding out her hand like she wants to shake mine.
"I-I'm Rina "
"Oh my! I love your name!" Diane says
"Thanks!"
She seems nice.
By the time me and Diane were done introducing each other the other two animals were in there half human form. One of them walked over to me holding there hand out. I put me hand out and shook his hand
"Hi I'm Max" he said
His voice was deep but only a little. He had big wings no fethers only skin, they were black and about 5-6 feet long. He also had a 3 foot long tail it was fluffy like a wolfs tail but it was thin like a cats and it had a point on the end. He had a full face of freckles and dark brown hair.
"I'm Rina"
"Lovely" he said
The other person standing next to Max came over to me and put his hand out also. I shook it. He is tall and has red fluffy hair, large wolf ears and a long fluffy tail. the fur on his ears and tail matched the color of his hair.
"I'm Ben" he said with a deep voice.
" im-"
"I know. Rina" he cut me off
"Sorry I'm just nervous, I don't know where I am, and you are all being so nice to me."
Annie walks over to me pulling me into a hug. She pats me on the back of my left wing and comforts me as a few tears run down my cheek.
"It's ok your home now" Annie says still pating me on my wings.
She lifts her head up slightly and looks behind me.
"Rina?" Annie says
"Y-yeah?"
"You have w-wings!" Annie says loudly
"I- I know what about it" I say wiping my tears.
I spread my wings out halfway. Annie looks up above my head and then to both wings.
"Why did you look above my head?"
"Y-your the.." Diane says
"I'm the what!!!" I say getting frustrated.
Everyone is looking at me in shock.
"What!!!"
"Your the hybrid queen.." Max says still looking stunned
"Whats the hybrid queen?"
"Oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh my gosh!!" Diane says shouting and jumping up and down.
"Whats the hybrid queen!!!"
"You!!" Annie says
"The hybrid queen is you, your here to rule the forest of Enchanted, to love and protect everyone and thing here!" Diane says
"W-what"
"W-Wait I feel weird--" I say as I struggle to stand
My vision goes blurry and my knees buckle under my feet. I hit the ground passing out.
