That day, it had started like any other day. Tia and her friends, Awhora, Ellie and Tayce, just playing in the mountains like they always did. It was peaceful, and happy, tranquil, even, and it felt like nothing could go wrong. That was, of course, until everything went horribly wrong.

"Let us go!" Ellie cried, the mysterious misty creature grabbing her and holding her tight. A shadowy figure sat atop the creature. The shadowy figure cackled maniacally, the next tentacle grabbing onto Tayce, lifting the petrified girl into the air, next to Awhora. Tia narrowly dodged the fourth tentacle.

Needless to say, Tia was horrified. She didn't know what was happening, but she knew she didn't like it and she wanted it to stop. The shadowy figure huffed as Tia bolted away. She waited until the figure left, unfortunately taking her friends with it, before running to get help.

A large river stood between her and the other side of the hill. She gathered her courage and jumped on the rocks that decorated the river. She needed to help her friends, and she needed someone to help her. She just had to get to safety first.

She ran and ran, not at all paying attention to the ground beneath her. That proved to be her downfall, as she tripped, falling down as she hit her head, landing in a bush as the world around her spun and spun, black stars dancing in her vision before it all went black.

Camden happily trotted down the mountain. Angie by her side. Willow struggling to keep up. This was one of Camden's favorite times. Their weekly walk through the mountains. Willow tagged along this time, wanting to see what all the hubbub was about, and why Camden liked taking walks so much.

The river running served only as background noise as the trio happily walked, talking amongst themselves about anything and everything. It was nice, just the three of them. It felt good to get away from the others. They really loved them, but they did get on the trio's nerves sometimes.

Suddenly, a loud scream tore through the peaceful atmosphere, making Camden freeze in place, Angie and Willow soon bumping into her. Willow stared at Camden, perplexed as ever. Camden hummed a confused hum. Something was dreadfully wrong, and Camden needed to know what it was. She turned to her friends.

"Did you both hear that?" Camden spoke as she turned to her friends. Angie shook her head in the negative, she had been too busy listening to Camden. A loud thump was heard and Camden immediately ran to the source of it, being the kind hearted gargoyle that she was.

"Oh my god! Angie, Willow! Someone is hurt!" Camden shrieked. The two ran over to the horrified Camden, and saw Tia laying limp and bloody in the bush. Angeria screamed in horror, and Willow gasped. Angie immediately suggested to take the injured girl to Veronica, Veronica could easily help her.

The other two agreed, and off they went, Angie and Willow scooping up the injured girl as Camden lead the way, back to the manor they resided in. The large manor was sort of like a college, but there weren't many classes. It was sort of like an apartment building.

"Oh, you're awake! Thank goodness. Are you alright? It was quite a shock to see you laying there!" A voice called. Tia opened her eyes to see a gargoyle girl standing in front of her. And a strange girl that was a goblin and Medusa hybrid stood beside the gargoyle.

Tia tried to move, but she was stuck. A blanket was wrapped tightly around her, prohibiting her from moving very much. The Medusa goblin girl placed a hand on Tia's stomach to keep her still, obviously looking very concerned. Needless to say, Tia was shocked and a little bit scared.

"You're safe now. Don't panic. My name's Veronica and this is my friend, Camden. You're safe here, there's no need to be scared. Can you tell us what your name is?" The goblin Medusa hybrid, who Tia now knew as Veronica, spoke. The gargoyle girl, Camden, sat beside the two.

"I-I'm Tia.." Tia mumbled. She was still quite scared, but couldn't help but feel comforted by Veronica's warm, soft, grey eyes. Veronica lifted her hand and stood up, Tia looked up at her, a bit of curiosity washing over her. Veronica left the room and Tia was left with Camden.

"Don't worry. She's just gonna get you a snack. You need one, since you're quite obviously hurt." Camden elaborated. A sudden knock on the door sounded out, and another gargoyle girl and a devil stood behind it. Camden referred to the other gargoyle as Angie and the devil was Willow.

"Is she alright? Did she wake up? What's her name?" Willow bombarded the two with questions, getting in Tia's face and tilting her head as she studied Tia. Tia was a bit perplexed and a little scared. This whole situation was new and unfamiliar. She bit her bottom lip nervously.

Another knock on the door, this time revealing a humanoid Loch Ness Monster. Things were getting too weird for Tia's liking. She was scared, and didn't know what to do. The other two started egging her with questions that she didn't know how to answer. She couldn't remember what happened.

"You both are absolutely horrible! Leave her alone! She's obviously scared! You guys are scaring her!" Camden snapped. The Loch Ness monster giving a nod, showing they agreed with Camden. Angie and Willow backed away, apologizing to the now sobbing Tia. Tia was scared, she couldn't remember anything but her name.

"Tia, are you okay?" Veronica called. Tia whimpered and reached for the other girl, sniveling. Veronica handed her a sandwich she made, which Tia gratefully accepted. As she ate, she couldn't help but feel at ease as Veronica rubbed her back.

But she couldn't shake the feeling that she was looking for something before she came here.
