Back in 1979, a monster race known as Hijackers were invading the Earth, but a general named Marcus saved the 4 and took took them into a Government like base called JAKQ Headquarters (Joker Ace King Queen Headquarters).
A general man named Marcus Lincoln given them powers of cards and they weren't ordinary playing cards, those were called Power Cards which contain the bits of the Morphin Grid. He also gives them Morphers and weapons to fight back to become Power Rangers JAKQ.
