If it's been a while since you've read the previous book, here's a little review...
Jae is a part of the crows
She, like Inej, was hired by Kaz from the Menagerie. Kaz paid Inej's debt but not Jae's
Jae is Inej's sister, but when they were seperated, Jae's physical appearance was changed and her memories erased. It took some time before Inej realized Jae was her sister
Jae had a vendetta against Rollins because he's the one behind her lack of memories and seperation from Inej
Jae is pretty good with a bow and arrow
Jae is also a Heartrender. No one knows of this except Jae, she's trying to keep it hidden.
This story picks up where the second season of Shadow and Bone begins.
My update schedule is a bit unpredictable right now, but I promise at least one chapter a week :)
