Hello there. My name's May Rae Johnson, but you can call me May. Yes, just May. I hate my second name. I was born and raised in Mullingar. That's in Westmeath, Ireland. I, sadly, don't live there anymore. Now, I am a current resident of New York City. It sucks. Yes, when I first arrived here, I thought it'd be like a dream. But it wasn't. Especially because people in college love picking on me for my 'funny' accent. I am 18 years old, and I blow my candles on December 31st. That isn't exactly fun, either.
I used to have so many friends over in Ireland. But right now, I barely know anyone in this humongous city. It's frustrating. Going to a place, expecting to live your dream, and then it turns out your dream had nothing to do with what you thought it'd be like.
I used to have two best friends, Kylie and Niall. Kylie betrayed me and Niall became internationally famous. I bet he doesn't even remember me anymore... Anyways, what's past is past and now I'm all on my own. But, believe me, being alone in a city full of people isn't that bad. It is.
My hobbies are mainly playing the guitar and singing. I also love writing poems. Actually, I have a notebook full of them. I love swimming. When you're on water you feel like you're flying, and I've always wondered what that feels like.
My favorite food... Um.. Anything would do, really. As long as it's food, I'm okay with it. My favorite color is green and I seriously love cats. I've always wanted to own one, but I really don't have the time or money to take proper care of one. I am 5'6. So I am not really tall and I am not exactly small, either. It's confusing. That's one of the reasons why I hate my height. I am not small, I am not tall. I am in the middle, being an awkward human being. I have light brunette hair and gray eyes. Well, they're not exactly gray, since they change of color depending on the weather or my mood. That's one of the only features I like about me, my eyes. I love watching movies, series, and reading books. I've read the Hunger Games millions of times, and I am a hardcore Potter fan. Maybe that's why they used to call me a nerd in primary school...
Anyways, I really like meeting new people. So, yeah, it's nice to meet you.
