Black lives matter
The lives of innocent young black men
Being taken without justice
While these killer cops' wallets are getting fatter
It isn't just a hash tag
Blacks being suffocated by the American flag
Got people thinking, is it really the land of the free
Or is it the land where the black man is still being hanged from a treeBlack lives matter
Determining the beauty and worth of a black woman by the texture of her hair
And the complexion of her skin
Her style is jacked but yet she gets no appreciationBlack lives matter
When the black community comes together
There seems to be a problem
Complaining about "black on black crime"
But when we come together as one it's a crime
Does it frighten you that we have an open mind
We're aware that our lives do not matter to you
But we are WOKE and our lives do matter
So we will do whatever it takes to keep the black power alive
