Jedtavius one-shots

In the coffee shop

Summary: 

Larry is the new director of the museum, so he adds a new miniature exhibit, modern life.

 Jedediah and Octavius met each other on the floor that morning as they went to their coffee date.

Larry had made them all modern clothes to wear. Jed wore a checkered white and blue shirt, denim jeans, and his signature vest, hat, and cowboy boots.

 Octavius sported a plain gray T-shirt, a red sweatshirt, and red leggings. He had traded in his sandals for Under Armor sneakers.

 They headed to their favourite café, the Cat-fé. They took a vacant table in a corner cushion booth, so that they could have some privacy.

Octavius pulled out the laptop he kept in his book bag, in place of his sheath, and went onto their favourite streaming platform, while Jed ordered two "kitty-mon" buns and ice teas.

They sat in the corner, just watching cat videos, and munching snacks. Jedediah sighed contentedly. "Now this is my idea of a perfect date."

He smiled, closed his eyes, and layed his head against Octavius' shoulder. Octavius smiled too, and layed his head on top of Jedediah's.
