(The year 2005)
My friend and I were walking to a comic store.
All of a sudden I noticed from the corner of my eye a strange tall man with a top hat following us I didn't think much of it so I ignored him.
We enter the store looking for the newest comic that just got released it was called the dark prince. The Dark Prince is about a prince who turned evil because he ate the forbidden fruit. Of course, there is more to it but that's all I can remember. When I was little I was known for having a bad memory I just couldn't remember anything that I didn't care about.
"I can't find it anywhere," says Aiden "Well maybe it isn't here," I say as I said that I notice the tall guy with the top hat starting at me and Aiden. "Let's get out of here," I say as I pull Aidens arm we leave the store cutting into the ally way "Stop I think I saw the book on a display next to the cashier counter I'm going back to buy it real quick" I disagree but he ignores me and leaves anyway. I sit against a dirty brick wall playing games on my phone I play for a while I check the time and I realize 20 minutes have passed and Aiden still isn't back yet. At this point, I'm very concerned
I Rush into the store and look for him for what felt like 30 minutes the cashier sees me running around the store "Hey what are you looking for" he asked "My friend did you see him leave?" I reply "You mean the kid you came with yeah he left with his dad" At that moment I freeze in fear my friend Aidens dad left him when he was little.
