Amity POV- I walked into town and I saw her. The most beautiful girl I’ve ever seen. But she was human?! I can’t be attracted to a human-. What will everyone think of me?! I can't. I'm just going to go get my coffee then go home.
Luz POV- Woah an angel fell from heaven I’m being serious. She was beautiful. I can’t help but stare- Is she looking at me? Why was she staring at me? Is there something in my hair?!
Luz shook her head thinking she had something in her hair
Ami POV- I messed up I giggled! She’s looking at me what do I do-
Amity turned red while Luz was amazed with her giggle as if she was falling in love. What Amity didn’t know is that the coffee shop she was going to Luz just so happened to work at. As Luz ran off to work Amity couldn’t help but stare but she shook it off and walked to the coffee shop. Luz went into the back to get ready while Amity waited out front. Luz was coming out of the back and Amity’s gaze locked on her. Luz soon looked back, their gazes locked.
Ami and Luz POVS- THE GIRL FROM THE TOWN
Amity quickly looked at the menu to her mind off of Luz.
Luz quickly broke the tension “Anything you want?” she said looking at the register. “Oh uh I’ll have a venti half-caf mocha frappuccino, triple shot.” she replied. Luz typed that in and “What’s the name for the order?” Luz asked, looking at Amity. “Amity” Amity she said, trying not to make eye contact. Luz then turned to Amity. “I'll be back with your coffee.” Luz walked off and got Amity’s coffee ready and wrote a note on a napkin and gave the coffee to Amity quickly running off after she paid.
Amity looked at the napkin walking as she opened it, stopping from shock. It was Luz’s phone number!
Luz POV- Hopefully that was a good idea-
Ami- NUMBER HER PHONE NUMBER!
The two started texting each other and got to know each other. Everytime Amity came, Luz was ready for a new order. “What this time, Blight?” Luz asked, getting ready for a new order. “What do you recommend?” Amity asked, trying to make conversation. “Definitely a grande caffe vanilla frappuccino, double shot.” Luz said, with no hesitation. “Then I’ll try that.” Amity said smiling. Luz couldn’t help but stare. Amity was getting some money out for the coffee. “I’ll pay! On the house!” Luz said stopping Amity. “Really?” Amity asked. “Yeah, you're my friend!” Luz said, dying from what she just said she went to get the coffee ready.
Ami- Just a friend huh-
Luz- UGH WHY DID I SAY THAT!?
Luz was just closing up and she ran after Amity while she was leaving. “Amity!” Luz said, catching her breath. “Would you like to go on a date with me?” Luz said it so fast so she would have no room for regret. “Yes! I mean..that would be nice.” Amity said, trying not to see flustered. Luz smiled “How about a skate date?” she said. Amity nodded and ran home so she wasn’t late.
