I was sleeping when I got woken up by my older sister. "Hey em." I say in a sleepy voice. "Hey y/n/n. There's a new camper here from juvie." She says and I nod, going back to sleep. "He's your age and is in the grizzly cabin. Xander wants you to meet him, maybe get to know him." She says. "Fine, just let me sleep first." I say and she kicks me. "Nope!" I groan and get up.
I change into my outfit.

I step out of my cabin, and get dragged by Emma to the grizzly cabin. "Hey Xander. Here's y/n." Emma says and basically throws me forward. I roll my eyes. "Griff, this is y/n. She was also in juvie. She went for theft." Xander says. I look at him. "Why am I over here? And why are you saying why I was put in! How do you even know? EMMA FID YOU TELL XANDER WHY I WAS IN JUVIE!?" I yell at Emma and I hear a 'yes' and I roll my eyes. "Anyways, you guys talk. Bye." Xander then leaves and I roll my eyes. I sit on Ravi's bed, he is my brother after all.
"Hello." Griff says. "Hi." I say. We sit in a comfortable silence. He breaks it. "Why did you get pulled over here?" He asks and I shrug my shoulder. "I don't know, I was asleep, Emma, my big sister, woke me up, told me a new kid was here forced me to get ready and dragged me over here." I say and he nods. "Does this camp not have a dress code?" He asks, talking about my clothes. "The owner is scared of me so I can do whatever I want." I say and he nods. "Do you want me to show you around?" I ask. "Sure."
I show him around, we are now at the great lawn. "I'm in woodchuck cabin, right beside yours. What do you want to do now? There's many things, we could go swimming, we could go paddle boarding, we could even hike." I say. "Let's go for a hike." He says and I nod. "Good choice, it's very pretty at this time." I say and we smile at each-other.
We were at the top of a mountain, the sun was setting and I smiled. My hair slightly blowing in the wind. "Y/n?" Griff says. "Yeah?" I ask and look at him. "Are we friends now?" He asks sheepishly. I could tell that he hasn't had many friends. And I wanted to be his friend. "Yeah. If you want to be friends?" I say and he nods.
We got back to the camp and it was pretty dark. We saw Emma and Xander. "Hey guys." Me and griff say at the same time and laugh. "Hey." Xander and Emma says. "Well, ima head to bed. Bye Xander. Night Griff. See you later em." I say and wave. I had a new friend and I know I've only known him a day but, it feels like I've known him my whole life.
