(About 9 or 10 months old.)
Lunabella was laid on a soft, purple blanket with baby toys scattered around her. Nearby sat her parents (minus Loki), who were chatting about whatever adults talk about. Lunabella wasn't quite sure what they were saying, but adult talk usually seems to be boring, so she just played with her toys.
After a while, however, she got bored of her toys. Who knew babies had such a short attention span? She puffed her cheeks and hufed. She pushed herself up to sit up.
Lunabella looked over at the adult. She didn't really understand what was going on, but she did gather that they were talking about poptart daddy Thor's hammer (I'm sorry I thought of that while trying to sleep). Some of them were taking turns trying to pick it up, but Thor was the only one that could.
Lunabella, not really thinking about it, pushed herself up onto her little feet. She wobbled and stumbled as she took little steps toward the hammer. Once to it, she wrapped tiny little hands around the handle, and lifted the hammer. She lost balance from the added weight and fell back on her butt as she held the hammer up over her head. By this point all the adults were looking at her in shock and amazement.
Thor grabbed the hammer from her hands, and set it back down before picking Lunabella up with a smile. "Not only can she now walk, she's worthy of my hammer!" His voice boomed as he held the tiny baby girl up in the air. "Haha! Loki owes me 20 dollars!"
Lunabella giggled and smiled.
The rest of the day the little cutie was showered in extra attention and affection. She was loving it. She got to eat extra applesauce as a treat. She also got an extra bedtime story.
