After settling down from the uncomfortable encounter that I had with Peter, he was eager to continue showing me some more parts of the house that I hadn't seen yet. The backyard patio, an outdoor firepit, as well as some other small things like the bathroom and pantry. He carried me around the whole time, of course, holding me tightly so I wouldn't fall. With my face just inches away from his chest, I could smell the revolting stench of cigarettes wafting off his body. I could have sworn that one time in front of my apartment, when I willingly hugged him... that he had a much more pleasent aroma. Maybe I was just imagining things then; trying to make a bad situation seem a little better. But now, it was unmistakable... he absolutely reeked of tobacco. It was almost strong enough for me to need to plug my nose.
