"Lost in the Abyss of Love"
My hand grips the quill so tight,
Yearning to pen of you tonight.
Questions swirl, my thoughts entwine,
But my faltering grasp lags behind.
I stare at the page, empty and bare,
The ink that should spill, now lost in despair,
For the words that should flow, seem to flee,
Leaving me caged, in this abyssal sea.
In this void, where shadows reign,
Fear grips my heart, an unyielding chain,
Haunted by the nightmares of everyday,
Without you, my soul in disarray.
I may have etched these words in blood,
That I love you, a truth not withstood,
Yet if I stand before you now, you'd ask,
"Who are you?" My pen stays its task.
You know what I am, bereft without you,
A soul adrift, searching for a breakthrough,
But let us set aside this hatred that binds,
And come together, our hearts to intertwine.
Hold me close, forevermore,
In this embrace, joy and love will soar,
Together we'll live, grow and shine,
Our love, like a mountain, will be divine.
