I stare at Michael,he's been like this for two months now. We haven't left Sydney since. The boys canceled all their shows but haven't told the fans the circumstances. His red hair dye has now faded to a light pink,and I haven't seen his green eyes in forever,I haven't seen him smile either. My life has become waking up coming
L here and then going To Luke and I's apartment. Luke's here right now but he's in the café. Calum and Kayleigh are dating now,and they're really cute together. Ashton and Maddie are still adorable as always. "Jade do you want a doughnut because I got you one" Luke says handing me a glazed doughnut. "Thanks" I say taking a small bite out of it. "Luke" I say. "Yeah" Luke says looking at me. "It's been two months do you think he'll wake up" I say. "There is honestly no telling" Luke says. "Luke he's barely breathing by himself" I say. "Jade lets not think about that" Luke says. "When are you going to tell the fans" I mumble. "I don't know" Luke says. "I think you should do it soon because they're getting suspicious" I say. "What do they think" I say. "They think Michael left the band because he's never with us" I say. "You have a point" he says.
~later~that~day~
"Jade,me and you have never went on an official date" Luke says walking into our bedroom. "I mean I guess we're very busy people" I say smiling. "Well we haven't been busy in months" Luke says. "Okay fine where do you want to go" I say. "The park" he says. "Why" I ask. "Because where me and you became friends" Luke says. "That's not a date really but whatever" I say. "Go get dressed" Luke says. I walk into the bathroom and change into a flannel and black leggings. I walk out of the bathroom and see Luke's black beanie on the dresser,I take it and put it on. I put on my black studded combat boots. Hanging out with these boys has made me dress like them. "Hey that's my beanie" Luke says. "Yeah that's my bracelet" I say pointing to a leather bracelet that says Jade on it on his wrist. "Okay fine you can keep the beanie on but I'm keeping the bracelet,because it makes me feel like I'm always with you" he says. "Okay you can keep it" I say smiling. "You're cute" he says. "I'm not cute I'm punk rock" I say laughing. I haven't laughed in a long time. He leans in and I feel his cold lip piercing against my lips. We haven't kissed in awhile,I miss it. "Let's go" he says pulling away. "Okay" I say following him out the door. A lot of people say me and Luke are just two dumb kids who will break up in a matter of months,but I think we were meant for each other. Luke's adorable in many ways like,he cuddles a stuffed penguin I gave him,he asks for permission before kissing me most of the time,he's so cuddly,he just loves me to death,and my favorite one is how shy he is. "Jade quit thinking about me and walk faster" Luke says smiling. Well he just read my mind. I walk fast to catch up with him and he puts his arm around me. I look up at him and smile,he smiles back adorably. I'm pretty sure the fans have figured out that we're dating,but here in Australia we aren't like trampled by fans every where we go,here we see an occasional fan in a store or something but that's it. We walk past our old high school. "Luke,if you wouldn't have stopped me in the hall that day I would be sitting in Ms.collins class right now" I say. "You're right,I can't believe I have school to thank for something" Luke says. "The first day of twelfth grade I would have never thought I would be crying over Michael Clifford" I say. "Me neither" Luke says. "We should go to the park before students think we're stalking them" I say. "Yeah we should" Luke says and continues walking. i mean he has a car but he says walking is cuter. "Can I kiss you" he whispers in my ear. You see theses are the things I love about him. "Yes Luke" I say smiling. And for the second time today he leans in and I feel his cold lip piercing touch my lips. "I love you Hemmings" I say. "I love you too bates" he says. "Okay let's stop calling each other by our last names,it's weird" I say. "Okay" he says smiling. "Luke,I know I've already said this in the last minute but I love you" I say. "I love you too Jade" he says twirling me. We have one of those relationships you only see in movies,I love it this way,but it can't stay like this forever sometimes times you have to snap back into reality and realize your best friends dying. "Luke what happens when Michael dies" I say. "Don't you mean what happens if he dies" Luke says. "There's no ifs about it" I say. "You never know" Luke says.
