The Danger Twins

Chapter 1: The Danger Begins

                           Henry, Hannah, Charlotte, and Jasper, were all doing homework at Henry and Hannah's house, (well, Charlotte was), when Jasper suddenly spoke. 

                          "Captain Man!", exclaimed Jasper, as he peered down at his tablet screen.

"What about Captain Man?", asked Henry. 

"Did you see what he did yesterday?" Jasper asked excitedly. 

"Are you talking about when he rescued that toothless woman that was being held hostage yesterday?", asked Hannah.

"Oh yeah they named her "Numb Gummed Woman' on the news", laughed Henry. 

"Guys, can we please focus on algebra?",  asked Charlotte, giving them all a glare. 

"I'm talking about a fire at a pet store and Captain Man ran right inside right into the flames and saved all the animals and never even got hurt!", Jasper exclaimed as he rambled about his idol. 

"Captain Man never gets hurt, he's a beast", said Henry. 

"You know someday when you guys are cleaning my swimming pool because you failed this algebra test and then flunked out of school. I hope you remember this moment, because I will", Charlotte stated with her usual sass. 

"Oh c'mon Char, you know we aren't ever gonna get jobs. Me and Hen have been looking for one all day", said Hannah with a frown. 

"Oh here's a cool job we could do, foot modeling.", suggested Henry as he looked at his computer. 

"Yeah I'm gonna have to pass on that.", said Hannah with a weird look.

"You guys can we please go over my list for my birthday party?", begged Jasper.

"Sure', said Henry.

"No",  both Charlotte and Hannah said.

"No", Henry agreed. 

"But I invited 52 people and only 2 people have texted me back. What does that mean?", asked Jasper with a frown. 

"It means that people have been to your parties before.", said Henry.

"Yeah one of your parties in which a boy almost died.", said Hannah.

"Yeah 15 kids ended up in the hospital because of your raw turkey.", said Henry.

"It was turkey sushi.", Jasper explained with a frown.

"Ok first person to find me and Hannah a job gets this bowl of pinecones.", said Henry while holding said pinecones. 

Jasper gasped as he said this. "You really concern me.", said Hannah while giving him a weird look. 

"Why do  you even needs jobs?", asked Charlotte. 

"You know, so we can learn responsibility, challenges ourselves-"

"We both want money.", Hannah interrupted. 

"Yeah we want money real bad.", said Henry. 

"Money's good." , said Charlotte.

"Can we please talk about my birthday.", begged Jasper. 

"Ugh am I gonna have to slap a boy?", asked Charlotte while glaring at Jasper. 

"Not if I do it first.", said Hannah while glaring at the boy.
