Y/N pov

It was hard to believe that I had only attended Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry for two years, having started my very first semester in the fifth year, as I watched the crowd of students hugging their families and waving good bye, I allowed my mind to wonder, last years events were just as memorable as my first time a Hogwarts even more so, it was clear that there was no such thing as a normal school year especially if you socialise yourself with Sebastian Sallow and Ominis Gaunt two Slytherin boys who I had the pleasure of becoming friends with one my first day at Hogwarts having been sorted into Slytherin we had become the trio of miscreants throughout the school, I had found myself spending more and more time with the pair of them last year having helped Sebastian out of a Series of unfortunate events in which involved lying to Professors Black and Weasley and the Ministry of Magic about the 'sudden' death of Sebastian's uncle Solomon and the disappearance of his twin sister Anne who was still neither see nor heard by anyone, Sebastian had become desperate in wanting to curse his sister that it was only after killing his uncle that he realised he had gone to far down the path of becoming what we had both be fighting against.

The door to the compartment slip opened and I looked around to see who had intruded on my wondering

"Oh sorry... I thought"

but before the second year student to finish his sentence he closed the door and hurried off,

I promptly smiled to myself, it was slightly amusing to watch students choke on their own words as you tried to interact with you in the slightest not because you were intimidating or perhaps even mean not it was because since the beginning of my sixth year everyone and I mean everyone knew exactly what had happened all during my fifth year of Hogwarts, it had been bad enough to be called Hogwarts hero but some like Leander Prewett and Imelda Rayes were not so quick to believe that a fifth year student who had only just arrived at the school could single handily defeat not only Rookwood but Ranrok who had become so in-depth in the use of ancient magic for all the wrong reasons, after breaking the enchanted barrier around a particularly dangerous source of ancient magic he had consumed the power within, fortunately and miraculously I was able to only destroy what he had become but was able to contain and put back the pieces of ancient magic that was stored and protected, it was when you say it all out loud quite a far-fetched story, I smiled to myself remembering my friends reactions when I told them what happened the night Professor Fig died, both Natty and Poppy were or struck when I told them but it's was Sebastian's look of admiration and slight confusion that took me by surprise, I think it was that day he started keeping an annoyingly close watch on me and would immediately insist on Companying me in every single excursion I had outside the castle.

As my mind thought about my brown haired freckled friend there outside my window was Sebastian who was walking past my compartment in deep conversation with a pale blonde boy who's had his wand out in front of him a small red light guiding his way past the crowed, I watched as the two boys passed my window and disappear out of sight, my eyed wondered back to my notes, I had let my mind drift from as I tried to think of how to properly write what I had discovered during my travels over the Summer, now that I was no longer living at the orphanage I took it as an opportunity to travel and learn more about the magical world in different cultures however my journey did not go as planned as I had found myself in quite a bit of trouble with some terrifying beats in Australia it seems that where they come from it was deemed normal to have abnormally large spiders as big as an Acromantula the locals didn't seem bothered what so ever that theses arachnida's are just hanging around their backyards some even looked after the creepy eight legged creature as if they were a cute little dog.

The door of the  compartment slid opened again and to my displeasure the person who had opened it was the last person I wanted to see at this moment

"Ah if it isn't the lonely hero"
