Hey Everyone! I am back in a while to start another Kingtastic Week! But also, the Premiere of one book that I've worked hard on! So, to clear things beforehand, this is in no way related to The Lion King! The drawing style is similar but that's the only thing. Plus, the backgrounds and map but that's the only thing. Characters are made by me. I was just seeing Lion Family Tree stuff everywhere and got inspired to make my own family-drama series. But without further ado, here's the chapter!
Section 1 (Hybrids) - Chapter 1: The Three Talons "Rise of Jeuri (Part 1)"
Jeuri, Bahari and Mbali were their names. Nobody knew where they were from or what had happened to them. The oldest of the three brothers, Jeuri, was fierce and a tyrant whom his brothers protected but feared. His name meant 'violence'. Bahari was the middle cub. His name meant 'ocean' as he was calm and the opposite of Jeuri. Finally, just like how his name meant 'distant', the youngest, Mbali, was very different from his brothers and always showed acquiescence whenever Jeuri came up with something. He was very lonely; in fact, they all were, everybody ignored them or thought it best not to mix in with them. All, except one, her name was Uzuri. Just like them, her parents had died long ago. She raised them until her passing when they'd grown up. Now, this is the start of the story.

A few years had passed and Mbali decided to leave. Why? Nobody knew. He was fed up with Jeuri's cruel and selfish ways. He didn't want to be part of The Three Talons, or the bigger element, The Panthera. He met a cheetah and had a son, Mseto. He was the rarest hybrid, believed to be a myth.
Meanwhile, Jeuri had settled in the grassy plains, hunting all day for his cubs, two sons called Dhaifu and Nguvu. His mate, Malkia-Muuaji, was evil like him, if not more. When Jeuri had met his lioness, he banished Bahari from the Sunset Plains, a kingdom he had conquered and now ruled terribly.
Present Day . . .
Bahari arrived at 'Jeuri's Palace' with his daughter, Miti. "You called a meeting?" he asked. "Indeed," responded a cold voice. "My spies have informed me of a hybrid son of Mbali. You know what we do with hybrids under The Panthera." "Yes," sighed Bahari. "But this is your nephew. I have seen many killed and I cannot bear this any longer, Jeuri!" "So, you don't wish to participate in the upcoming war?" questioned Jeuri. "No, I want peace and that's why I hide in the Quiet Lands." "Pftt, coward." And so, the next morning at sunrise, Jeuri sent his troops to kill Mseto. The war had just begun.

Review I am actually kind of annoyed that this is the shortest chapter ever that I have written (363 words)! So much that I wanted to combine it with the second one but I guess it suits as a prologue or something. Nevertheless, I hope you guys enjoyed and are ready for this Kingtastic Week.
