••••••you grew up with Tanaka, or as you had the pleasure of calling him, Ryū. you've known Ryū ever since he transferred to your primary school in the 4th grade.

        at the time, Ryū wasn't flustered at the sight of a girl, so he was never nervous or flirty with you, and it hadn't changed even now in your 2nd year of high school at Karasuno.

         in your first year of high school, Ryū had pretty much begged you to sign up as the volleyball manager when he gets on the team, so you agreed, happy to support him.

         it was an undenied secret between you and your friend Ayaka that you held feelings for the delinquent, though since he was so dense, he never picked up on it. because of your feelings, your heart couldn't help but be hurt when he first told you about his doting crush on the beauty of your school, Kiyoko Shimizu.

        of course, as his best friend, you couldn't help but give him your support.and you only hoped that the feelings for her was nothing more than his amorous affection for women. but as time went on, it was more than that. thankfully Kiyoko never had bat an eye at Ryū. but his heart still belonged to her, and you couldnt help but feel like he tore at your heart every time he brought her up.

        no matter how much you wanted to dislike Kiyoko, you couldn't. she was perfect. she was ethereal with her looks, and kind. and even after when you thought she couldn't get anymore perfect, was that she wasn't ever conceited, she wasn't even really aware of her pretty privilege.
